The ceramics studio date night was excellent! I would recommend to anyone interested in learning. The instructor was fantastic, she helped us make 3 different pieces and she was a great teacher. The pizza and tiramisu was delicious. For the price this experience was an absolute steal.

I needed a shop to do a woodworking project and hit a brick wall. Checked online and emailed 5 different shops. Hamilton craft studios was the only one to reply and they did so in about 15 mins might have been 10 mins. The shop is huge the staff is helpful and they literally have everything you could want for your next project. Thanks David we passed your name around supercrawl and wish you the best.

What a fun discovery!

Came here for an Artful Assembly drop in class and was wowed by the amount you can do in the space. Great vibes and a wonderful atmosphere to just slow down and get inspired.

Parking was tricky in that area of town as the designated lot for the building was full, but it won’t deter me from coming again!

It is so lovely to have a creative outlet in this city. Being a part of the HCS community has provided so much for space and inspiration for growth as a ceramics hobbyist. Wonderful space and such a welcoming group of folks at HCS - There is everything you need to start your crafting journey. You have to check it out!

Took a introductory woodworking class this weekend making kitchen cutting boards. Joe and David were phenomenal - thank you for a wonderful day! These boards will last us the rest of our lives :).

Something for everyone! It’s been lovely being part of the HCS community, diving back into ceramics and meeting tons of wonderful people through ceramics, sewing, woodworking, and more.

Signed up for an introductory table class that gave far too much freedom in design. Be wary of classes labelled “beginner/intermediate” as you might end up way over your head.

However, as someone who doesn’t have the space or the budget for a workshop, it’s nice to have a location with much of the equipment you’d need to dip your toes into woodworking.

I did the Jeans Workshop with Dayna. I'm so sad it's over! Here I was thinking to just learn to make a pair of jeans, but I also got to meet an interesting group of people, laugh, enjoy the 'flow' of being creative, and experience the inspirational and space that is HCS. The studio is impressively well-stocked, open, airy and inviting. I feel like I have discovered a treasure. I'm excited to make use of my brand-new membership. Also, my jeans turned out AMAZINGLY.
