Ming is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, quickly diagnosing the issue with my TV and ordering my part on the spot. I was certain I was going to be in for over $150 worth of repair; but Ming was able to solve my issue for a fraction of that. I will definitely be back for any future repairs.

Had issues with my 5 month old Samsung Tv. Samsung issued an in home warranty service request late Sunday night and I was happy to see they were sending Guelph TV and Video as we’ve dealt with Ming 10 years ago and were impressed.
We got a call from Ming early Monday morning he asked a few additional questions and had me email him pictures of what the TV screen was doing.

He ordered a new screen and got it Wednesday morning and came over that evening to install it.
He is very personable with a nice sense of humour and worked quickly and efficiently cleaning up afterwards.

The experience wasn’t just painless it was rather enjoyable.

Can’t recommend him more highly!

I recently experienced a sudden issue with my 85-inch Samsung TV—it just stopped working out of the blue. After a quick search, I decided to call a TV repair service, and I'm so glad I did. Great service from Ming and Guelph TV & Video. I brought in an out of warranty Panasonic Blu Ray Player that wasn't reading UHD movies reliably, Ming assessed the issue promptly, worked with Panasonic to get a new part and had it installed and ready for pick-up in less than a week. Player is back home now working flawlessly! Thank you Ming!

This is the last remaining TV repair shop in Guelph! Our Panasonic Plasma TV failed to work yesterday so in late afternoon I called; the owner/technician (Ming) said he could drop in today and did so, punctually. We were happy with his expertise and the solution which did not require any parts.

The fee for a home visit is $65, reasonable these days. Had we been able to take the TV to him, the diagnostic fee would have been $35 - to be applied to work if we then authorized it. That is a very good deal.

We hope that this company remains in business because our TV is huge and attached to the wall, AND we have no desire to drag it into the car and drive to another city for repairs.
