Had a great experience here with staff who were very busy but still really friendly, patient, and personable. They had my PC fixed within 2 or 3 days when the place down the street had a wait time of 2 weeks.

0/5 if i could. They took over a week to fix my pc, wiped my drives for no reason, installed the wrong OS on the wrong drive despite my explicit instructions and their reassurance they wouldnt, was told everything was ready only for me to have to turn around and bring my computer back after i picked it up. Communication was abysmal, as they gave me no way to contact them for an update, they took 4 days to even start working on it and to make it all worse it was their manager that was working on my device showing there is no level of competence starting at the management. There is no part of this in which i have any positive feedback to report. Avoid at all costs and find a shop where they know what they are doing.

My son has been waiting for his gift card (or returned broken product) from geek squad for over a month. They put in the wrong email address from the application, and that’s just the start. I sent in the claim and realized the email was wrong, fixed it. Called a second time wondering where the product or gift card was. Found out they were sending him a gift card because the product was in fact broken, to find out the email was wrong AGAIN. Had to open ANOTHER CLAIM! Was told 3 business days it will be sent to his email address. Called AGAIN to find out it would be 7-10 business days.. not 3 business days because of the new claim. My son has been without the product for over a month. Paying for a service I’m not provided in a proficient time frame is unsatisfactory. I do understand the new claim issue and the company needing more time. But when it’s due to incompetency of employees entering an email address incorrectly, I shouldn’t have to wait over a month.

I brought in my PC for a check up after accidentally spilling some water on my motherboard and PCI-e cable . Paid $70 for them to tell me exactly what I already knew. They told me the MB and the PCI-e cable both have corrosion and the GPU is completely totalled. I wanted them to do a full system diagnostic but they couldn't because in their own words "we do not have the right cables" They said the PC is totalled. I have only replaced the MB and the PCI-e cable and the PC works just fine and so does the GPU!!! These guys lack professionalism. They don't even seem to have any enthusiasm to answer any questions you have about the service or their products. Lesson from the story is to fix it yourself than to let these "professionals" look at your PC. Absolute joke as a tech service.

When I signed up I did not think I would be paying for almost 5 years at $200 a year for nothing. I did the initial setup and then moved twice (across the country) had a few life events and forgot all about the small monthly payment. Was easy to discontinue the payment. Nice people to deal with all the way around so far.

The service sucks, the knowledge of the employees is lacking, the communication is poor, the service is overpriced. Go to any other business for computer help. It will be cheaper and you will get better and faster results.
