Very knowledgeable and supportive team at FriesenPress. This was a new "adventure" for me. It was my first experience at publishing my stories. The team advised, listened, and offered strategies to assist me in my writing. I never felt pressured as the deadlines were fair and reasonable, but they kept me on task. Emails were returned in a timely fashion, and phone calls for personal contact and discussions helped reduce my stress when I was in a panic (because that does happen). "Mindful Landscape Sketching" published in June 2024 was my first experience with FriesenPress. Working with their hybrid model (a cross between full-publishing services and self-publishing) was confusing at first but, as I gained familiarity with navigating their system, things became clearer and easier. What I found excellent about Friesen was their editorial and book design support. I appreciated the concrete suggestions/alternatives offered and the timely fashion in which our "discussions" took place. They were always positive and encouraging.
