I am not particularly visually creative, snd I need a bit of help when it comes to framing, matting and deciding on best colours and textures. Every time I go to Fotoframe and ask for help and ideas, the staff, all of whom are creative, take a simple picture, print, fly fishing fly, and make it brilliant. If you want excellence, go to Fotoframe!

Because I like to support local over big chains I don’t mind the higher prices but I can not go there anymore because the service is so incredibly bad. Twice now I went there for help with products that I bought at the same store and I was told to just “look it up myself because it’s not their product” I bought it at your store mam and it’s defect and I am just nicely asking for advice. Horrible!!!

I've watched them transition over the years from a traditional "camera store" to a full-service photo service dealer. They carry a vast selection of pre-made frames (see photo) and also custom framing/matting, printing, etc. They also still sell cameras. When I needed to return one item, they didn't offer any objection and gave a prompt refund. Always good service.

I recently visited F-Stop(now fotoframe) to create some photo books. The staff was attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I had to create the projects myself online, at home,( using their online software). The process was a bit tedious but I found the staff, especially Catherine, to be very helpful. Catherine even reviewed my projects and made corrections to some errors I made.
I highly recommend this store. The staff experience is worth it!

A great place to get your artwork framed and to buy artwork. Any framing I have had to do has turned out stellar using both Michael and Linda’s recommendations. I have also had posters put on canvas and framed. Also for photographs I had a picture of my son running at OFSAA in the snow and they blew it up as much as possible. Turned out great. As far as photography equipment goes they have a decent assortment and can order anything in. What they have in store is enough for any aspiring photographer. It is great to have a store like this in Orangeville with a great owner and staff like Linda. Also Linda is an artist herself who I have bought a painting from. Gave it to my sister and she loved it. We are lucky to have a store this dynamic and attentive to their customers.

I usually get my film developed here (Prints & digital scans) if I'm not in the city and it's always a wonderful experience. Slower than Toronto but worth it to support local (or not make the drive to t.o)

Both the ladies who work at the counter are so sweet and helpful, they always call when my film is in and save my negs.

Plus they just started carrying more varieties of film! Woo!

I have never done a Google review before but am so disappointed with our experience at F Stop, I felt I needed to do so. I had heard so many great things about this store from friends so decided to take my cross stitch project there for framing. The store is beautiful and initially the service from Michael was great. I felt confident that everything would go well. This was a special piece done for my son’s wedding. When my husband and I went to pick it up, there was an obvious crease in the fabric at the top of the cross stitch. I was never informed that there was a problem with it before picking it up. When I pointed it out because they didn’t, I was told they would redo it. This however meant we would have to make over an hour round trip back to Orangeville again to pick it up. Fortunately, it was done correctly the second time however there was no mention of compensating me for their failure in doing it properly the first time. When we spoke with the owner, Michael, he was not very apologetic, made many excuses and offered no compensation considering we paid almost $300 to have this done. When we suggested we deserved something for our trouble, he threatened us with “If you keep pushing it, I can take the piece apart and you can go elsewhere to get it done.” Wow!! This is how you speak to a customer? Shameful!!! In the end, Michael offered 20% off our next purchase which is a joke because after this horrible experience, we will never be going back there again.

Absolutely amazing! We had old VHS tapes transferred to USB. Quality came out perfect, considering how old our tapes were. Staff was very pleasant to deal with and very helpful. Would highly recommend service from here. If you’re not sure about something just give them a call. Will be back with more archive memorabilia!
