Typically I don’t have much time for door to door salespeople but this time, with Manjyot, there was something different. I don’t recall what she initially said but I wanted to hear more. I was frustrated with my Telus Optic reception and with everything about by 8 month experience with Telus internet. I had been a Shaw customer for 25+ years and regretted switching to Telus, even though they were substantially cheaper than my previous Shaw fee. I guess you get what you pay for.
Manjyot listened attentively and then responded with solutions. Her friendly manner, low key approach and very professional presentation was most appreciated. Once again, I am a happy Shaw customer.

“From TELUS Loyalist to Rogers Fanboy (Thanks to a Random Guy at My Door)”

So, picture this: I’m minding my own business, living my best life with TELUS Internet and TV. No complaints, no big drama. Then out of nowhere, this guy named Kapil shows up at my door, rocking that “I sell things for a living but I swear I’m not a scammer” energy.

Now normally, door-to-door pitches are like random pop-up ads in real life. You open the door and you’re already plotting your escape. But this guy? Kapil actually made sense. He didn’t just pitch Rogers like a typical sales guy—he practically gave me a TED Talk about saving money. And like some kind of wizard, he actually convinced me. Next thing I know, I’m switching to Rogers and apparently saving a fortune every month (who knew listening to strangers at your door could be so profitable?).

Fast forward a few days: a technician comes by and installs everything. Internet? Check. TV? Check. Stress-free? Check. Honestly, I expected a small circus of wires and chaos, but nope—it was so smooth I didn’t even have time to make coffee before everything was up and running.

And just to be clear: Kapil is NOT one of those shady, “sign your life away” salespeople. He was polite, professional, and didn’t vanish into thin air once I signed up. He explained everything clearly, no sketchy fine print. I’m now saving real money every single month, my TV works flawlessly, and my Wi-Fi doesn’t give up on me every time I breathe near the router.

So yeah, I went from “nah, I’m happy with TELUS” to “Kapil, take my money.” If Kapil shows up at your door, maybe hear him out. Worst-case scenario, you get a free chat with a very convincing guy. Best case? You save a bunch of cash and get better service.

10/10 would let this man knock on my door again.

I had an interview scheduled with Exceller8 Marketing. I joined the Zoom meeting on time but was unexpectedly removed by the host and could not rejoin. Despite emailing and calling immediately, I received no response. This was very unprofessional and disappointing, especially after preparing thoroughly for the session. Clear communication with candidates should be a basic standard.

A technician came to set up my service within just a couple of days, and Manjyot even took care of canceling my Telus account! No effort required on my part! I can’t believe how smooth and hassle-free this entire process was. Highly recommend her expertise!

I’m so glad it was Manjyot who came to my door. She’s hands down the best rep that company could have! She truly deserves a raise for all her hard work and effort. She is an amazing salesperson, and what sets her apart is how she was not overly pushy like so many others. She clearly wants people to get the best deal without making it feel like a scam or something they’ll regret later. I’m usually not a fan of door to door salespeople or phone calls trying to get me to switch services. I always hang up or politely decline. But with Manjyot, it was different. For some reason, I felt comfortable moving forward, and that’s because she came across as genuine and real. I didn’t feel like I was being roped into something I wouldn’t be happy with. She made the whole experience feel trustworthy and worthwhile. Thank you!
