My kids started painting with Evelia at a young age and they have grown to love art and enjoy their time at the studio greatly. I started this past year and our whole family enjoys the comfortable environment of classes. Evelia is professional and caring when teaching, and gives excellent advice for even beginners. The studio is clean and well put together, and they supply everything you need from paint to canvas. They are such a wonderful local art studio and would definitely recommend going kids or adult!

I was a teacher at Evelia Espinosa’s art studio for over 10 years. I have seen this business grow over the years and I can promise you that if you go here you will not be disappointed. This art studio is unique in its format and in its content when it comes to art classes for kids. They focus on very technical aspects and go into detail about teaching complex subjects such as colour theory, art history and the elements of art in addition to many more subjects. Evelia is a highly qualified individual who has multiple advanced certifications in fine art from Emily Carr university as well as degrees in teaching and psychology. Her approach to teaching is unique and her love of art is undeniable. There is no better place to take your kids to learn oil painting. They are very professional in their setup and their way of working. You will not be disappointed from the minute you walk in. I can guarantee that.

Fantastic class and atmosphere. My daughter has been taking Evelia’s class for three years now. She has painted several oil paintings including a portrait of herself skiing! She enjoys both the drawing portion of the class and the painting. Evelia has a fantastic program and curriculum that she has developed over the years . My daughter is not naturally artistic and can become distracted at times in class. Evelia is fantastic at getting the kids to stay focused to the task at hand. She tells them what is expected and they listen. There are kids from age 5 to teens - my hats off to Evelia for being so talented that she can not only paint but instruct so many students of different ages and talents in her classes. The size of the classes are small and very intimate. I’m very happy to have discovered Evelia’s painting classes right here in Port Moody and look forward to the kids painting expo every summer at the Port Moody library. I highly recommend Evelia Espinoza’s Art Centre. My kids have been there for the last two years and it has been an incredible experience for them. They not only enjoy doing art, they learn the technics and concepts of art.
All the staff are very knowledgeable, respectful and patient with active kids like mine.
Also, Evelia has been very proactive during this difficult time of Covid-19. She made all the arrangements at the studio to provide a good distance between kids and followed all recommendations like, hand sanitizer, face mask, etc to keep children safe.
My three kids are looking forward to starting their art class in September.

Evelia and her team are very professional and always keep the priority of the students first. They always give the right direction to the students and are there to guide them correctly. Evelia also keeps herself updated in her education. All of the supplies are provided by them. Evelia with her team and her daughters always give the kid friendly environment and this makes the kids go back every week. i believe in teaching with fun and that's what I get for my daughter here and hence will always support this art studio.

My son started at Evelia Espinosa's Art Studio three years ago. My son tried out on a try out session and felt he would like to continue. During these three years, my son rarely shows his unwillingness to go to the studio for his lessons. I am pleased that I don't need to push him to an extracurricular activity, and I also see the significant progress of his painting skills. Thanks to the following three characters of this studio:
