Like many families, the kitchen and dining room is central to our lives, and Helene and I had been debating for quite some time now to have this critical part of our family home renovated and modernised to a more contemporary, functional kitchen space.

The work that your crew, led by the indomitable Trevor, and all of the decisions you helped us navigate, exceeded our expectations. I lost count of how many different workmen (and ladies) had taken part of the overall project, but from Alexandra who you recommended for the initial design, the plumbing crew and everyone in between, the work that was done for us was exemplary and trouble free as your firm project managed the renovations from end to end.

A previous contractor had done a very bad job in re-doing our upstairs bathrooms. The piping for the plumbing was badly done. The result was that the piping started to leak and we discover that there also was mold build up. The bathroom is above our family room. The family room has a well used fireplace and is our favourite room in the house. The bathroom piped started to leak ... with the water leaking onto our family room furniture and floor. We caught the problem quickly and had the ceiling opened and the pipes replaced. Then we called in empire to redo the ceiling. They checked to make sure the mold was gone, closed the ceiling that had been opened to fix the bathroom exhaust piping, replastered, and repainted, and along the way installed spotlights in the veiling. We are very happy. They did the work on time, on budget, and left us with a very attractive ceiling. And their team was very agreeable to have in the house.
