I loved working with Alexis on a recent creative shoot. She was bubbly and personable, and very talented. She worked and chatted easily and I loved the finished result- I felt beautiful but still myself as she maintained the natural integrity of my curls. Not usually inclined to post negative reviews but we were pretty disappointed in our cuts. I got a bang trim and Mike got a haircut. I’m not a fan of dry cuts because they tend to be less precise. Not a major issue with bangs because they grow fast, but Mike’s cut was a mess. No shampoo before hand and I had to dig out my scissors (after 25-ish years hiatus) to clean up the cut. It was almost as if only half his hair was cut, lots of tufts and points. We won’t be back and can’t recommend the salon. A real shame because we wanted to support a local business.

I dont normally write bad reviews but..

I ended up walking in last week, trying to get a haircut on the spot, or within that next day or so, family coming down, wanted to look fresh, surprisingly even though the shop was empty of clients and the stylists were clearly not busy, they informed me they were booked up for about 6 days, sooo, I hesitantly accepted to wait a whole week and go in for this cut because it would be "cutting it closely" to when my family was here... Well this morning they called and cancelled not an hour before the cut, claiming someone wasn't coming in. No offering of anykind that maybe another one of their girls could cut it instead.

Anyway, the first shop in vernon i called was able to get me in today.

This new hair salon is so cute and I always leave with a big smile, feeling cared for. I appreciate their warm, inviting environment and they clearly have a huge passion for colour, healthy hair, and clean products.
