Kids classes are alright and kids seem to have fun but the management just tries to nickle and dime everything. They squeezed so many classes together to the point that they were kicking parents out of gym during kids classes. Only after people started cancelling their membership that they had to backpedal.

In short ok/good (kids) classes. Poor magagement.

This place is amazing. The instructors are great, the atmosphere is inviting, and every class is different and exciting. Doing private classes with Kevin has been a game changer. His knowledge and experience is invaluable.

My 7 year old son began jiu jitsu five months ago and has quickly developed a passion for the sport. Coach Todd is fantastic with kids! He is funny, patient, and creates an engaging environment for learning. Inspired by my son’s progress, I decided to join, despite having no prior martial arts experience.
Professor Wolfgang has been super welcoming and encouraging. His attention to detail and thorough explanations has helped me grasp complex techniques easily. The entire community has been welcoming, making each session enjoyable. My son and I look forward to class each week. It has also been a great way to bond and spend time together.

Disappointing Experience and Poor Management

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Element Martial Arts. Before going on a trip, I felt pressured to sign up for their membership because the manager warned me that there might not be a spot available two months later when I'd return. He assured me that membership charges would start only upon my return, which was not the case. I was charged the following month, ruining my vacation with attempts to communicate and resolve the issue due to their poor communication. Eventually, they adjusted the charges by skipping a month's membership.

Upon returning, I attended two classes. I had been told that there was an adults' class, both in person and on the schedule. However, 95% of the participants were teenagers and young women. While there's nothing inherently wrong with that, it wasn't what I expected or was led to believe. The difficulty in training hard arose because I anticipated pairing with peers who matched my training preferences.

Furthermore, the classes themselves were chaotic and lacked structure. It felt like a group of friends had taken over a parent's gym rather than an organized learning environment. Having attended various fitness programs before, I value structured classes that follow a clear curriculum, which this gym did not provide.

When I decided to cancel my membership, I encountered further issues. My requests and emails for cancellation confirmation went unanswered until I was charged again. After calling and leaving a message, I was instructed to fill out a form for cancellation, with no inquiries about my experience or feedback for improvement. Ultimately, I paid the initial fee, two months of membership, and a $250 penalty for breaking a year-long contract, despite attending only two classes and having an unpleasant experience.

Overall, I cannot recommend Element Martial Arts due to their lack of transparency, communication, and organization. Be cautious if you consider joining, as the experience did not reflect the promises made during the initial presentation and can lead to unexpected charges and dissatisfaction.

This place is more than just a facility where my children learn martial arts, respect, disclipne and consistency. I as a single mother, have gained irreplaceable skills as a student. Training with dedicated and passionate coaches, Sensi's, and Professor's has forever impacted my family. This place has become our home. The team there takes great care and pride in developing the skill set of each child. A place of passion, respect and community.

I signed up for a gold membership after my first visit and haven't regretted it for a second. They have many different options for classes as well as good instructors. You can't ask for much more.

Have been going for a few months and have learned a lot. The staff are super friendly and the coaches are very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend this gym for anyone who is interested in trying martial arts or for those who already have time under their belts.
