The staff are incredible. Every person who helped us was so kind. The owner himself is probably the nicest hotel person I have come across. They all just seemed incredibly genuine there and like many have mentioned - treat you like family.
The hotel is very clean and the hot breakfast was great.

After about 18 hours on the road I arrived after midnight. The guy at the front desk was great. He even asked if I qualified for a seniors discount. The room was spacious, including a full size fridge along with a mini fridge. It isn't a new place but it was very clean and modern.
I didn't get to bed until after 2 and heard a train going by that gave a little honk of its horn. I thought it would be a long night, but I didn't hear anything after that.
Breakfast was awesome and all the staff I encountered asked if there was anything I needed. One of the best staffs that I have ever encountered. I definitely would stay again if I'm in the area.

I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge in Taber for 4 nights for a business trip and had a wonderful experience. This lodge is run by a husband-and-wife team along with their family, and you can truly feel the warmth and personal touch they bring to the place. Every guest is welcomed personally, which makes you feel special and right at home.

The rooms are cozy, clean, and comfortable, with great bedding that ensured a restful stay. It’s clear that the owners take pride in maintaining both the property and the guest experience.

During my stay, I even met an elderly couple in their mid-80s who told me they come to Taber every year to visit their kids — yet they prefer staying at this lodge rather than at their children’s homes. That alone speaks volumes about the comfort and welcoming atmosphere this place provides.

It’s no surprise they have won many awards from the Choice group — they absolutely deserve it. Their genuine hospitality and dedication make this Econo Lodge stand out as more than just a place to stay; it feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Taber!

This hotel may look a little older from the outside, but the rooms are very nice and clean and modern.
The sheets are extremely soft and comfortable. I had a great sleep.
Come on check in the staff was very friendly . It felt like I was family

We were driving for over 10 hours and found the hotel late at night and the service was amazing. We received a room immediately including pet friendly and the bed was so comfortable and the front desk was so helpful and welcoming. We met the owner the next day and the support staff was so friendly and respectful

I plan on adding a Google review to recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for work or driving through to stop for a night driving through the beautiful southern part of Alberta.

This is probably a 2 star motel but has a 5 star level of service. Our room had a coffee maker and a small fridge, a large tv with lots of channels. The A/C worked great, and the room was very clean. The breakfast included hot items like bacon eggs and sausages. Yogurt, muffins, bagels, cereals, and juices were also there. We were even given bottles of water when we checked in. This is a simple motel, but the super friendly service is what you would expect at a 5 star hotel.

Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and staff yesterday while visiting Taber. The owner, an extremely friendly gentleman who was not only very professional and helpful but very accommodating and made our group feel welcomed. We were only there for the day, no need for a room to comment unfortunately. If anyone is staying overnight in Taber, please visit the Econo Lodge and you'll feel like family.

The nicest, friendliest management and staff we have ever experienced at a hotel. The breakfast is outstanding. Rooms clean and just the whole atmosphere is one of welcome and visibility.
