I had a great time making a pumpkin. Cameron is a patient and kind teacher. My sister and I loved the experience. The shop was laid out well and easy to move around. We got a safety talk before we started and felt comfortable the whole class.
I will definitely try out one of the other classes.

Went here with a couple friends for the pumpkin class and we all had such a wonderful time. I've done glass blowing before at a place downtown, but living in the valley is was just too far - especially since you have to wait a few days before you can take your piece home. This location in Aldergrove is so much more convenient!
I also found this shop had much more space to work - it was very bright and open and clean.
Cameron was an amazing teacher. He was very patient with us and was by our side during the entire process.
We are all looking forward to our next class here and will be signing up as soon at the dates for the Christmas ornaments are released!

We took a couple of evening workshops and have had a great experience. They are very knowledgeable and such a fun activity where you walk away with a lovely piece of art. Highly recommend and we are returning again in the future!

Staff was very kind and patient. When doing a new craft it can be a bit nerve-wracking but they made sure they communicated safety well & still made it very fun! I highly recommend this place for all your glass work activities. Will for sure be back again! The glass pumpkins were so beautiful!!

We did the Halloween glass blowing class and it was great. Cam was a great teacher and everything was super well organized. The available glass work is beautiful. Well worth going, be it for a class or a new piece of art.

What an AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! To celebrate my bestie‘s 50th birthday, we partook in a private lesson for two over a four hour period. I learned so much about the chemistry behind glass and colours, about the importance of heat versus cold, and when each needs to be applied, about how to use tools appropriately… All while having a great deal of fun with one of my favourite people and the incredible, friendly, knowledgeable owner of Dougherty Glassworks. Hands-down, one of the greatest experiences of my entire life! I got to handle hot glass and make objects… It was so empowering… inspiring… creative! I would do it again in a heartbeat 🙂

My friend and I attended a weekend flower glass blowing class. Cameron was so fun to work with, provided great instructions and you could really see his passion come through with every single attendee. I would highly recommend his workshops or classes!!! We had so much fun and learned so much!! Best sweat I’ve worked up in a while!
