I had a good experience with a fairly new hairdresser. She listened to my concerns and took her time cutting my hair and checking with me if the length ect. was good. My hair can be stubborn average new cut but it turned out great.

Sydney curled and styled my hair for me on a Thursday. She put in my clip in extensions and gently pinned them.
I usually take them out the same night.
I have no idea how she did my hair but I still have my extensions in with the pins. It’s the most comfortable my hair has ever been styled (I’ll keep them in till Monday night)!

I just moved to Chestermere and went for a haircut in the salon based on the reviews but I am highly dissappointed with my experience. The stylist asked me the kind of haircut I need and I explained my requirement. She spend an hour on my simple haircut and barely did anything. She spent around 20-25 minutes blow drying my hair as if she was just killing time. When she reduced my hair length, like all other stylists she did not care to ask if that was enough or I wanted to change it. I asked for face framing hair but did nothing. I asked for some layers at the back but she did not do that either. When I asked her to reduce more length she said she only has 10 minutes left till her new client comes in. She did reduce the length a tiny bit but did not straighten the hair as I asked and just left them blow dried with the ends curled so I could not figure out the layers at the back, the face framing or the length. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Total waste of time and money!!!!

I’m new to Chestermere and couldn’t keep driving to my old stylist in okotoks.
A friend recommended Diversion and I was not disappointed! You can tell there is a great vibe there with all the girls. Avary did my hair and did an AMAZING job. I’m very happy with it and have definitely found my new spot. Highly recommend booking here.

Finding a new stylist is always a bit scary. I lucked out when Avery's name came up. I have been seeing her for 6 months, and every visit is better.
I should also add that I am a senior and she always makes me look very smart!
