I was satisfied with my highlights however the appointment was half hour late no apology, salon decor could definitely use an update come out of the 80-90ies, maybe blinds in the front window and the baseboards were dirty.

Went to Jeffery (hair stylist)for a layered bob from long hair. left feeling happy, until the next day when the "style" washed out of my hair-to discover not ONE piece of my hair was even or layered there was literally chunks cut out of my hair placed willy nilly that he hid by styling my hair into a style that looked like what I wanted. Went to another hair salon to get it fixed and the 1st words out of her mouth was WTH then she asked if I was sure a proffesional had done my hair? She said it was the worse job she had ever seen and the hair cut made no sense she said it was like a child hacked my hair. Now I have to grow out my hair again as I had to get a pixy cut (never wanted one) It really sucks that someone could be so cruel when I was very polite and nice. Never will I come back to this Salon!!!! Worst experience ever

Professional and friendly service. Price is right at normal levels, in my experience. Overheard a lovely interaction between my hairdresser and another customer, offering and arranging an at home appointment for the elderly gentleman's wife, to make things easier for them. Always happy with my haircut, as well.

I went here for the first time today and had my hair cut by the owner (Denise?). I am so happy with it! I usually dread getting my hair cut due to previous bad experiences elsewhere but I could not be happier with how it went at D'Fy. The salon was very clean as well. It will be my go-to place from now on. ( :

Well I have really thick hair, so I wanted it thinned and a side bang. Thinning was good, but when I said across and down too the right side, I don't really think she knew what I was asking for. At one point she starts too part them in the middle; ( which is exactly how she has her bangs)
So I stop her and say can you cut them so they go across. She had no issue except afterwards they now wanted to part in the middle, so she tried saying that's just where the natural line of your hair is, it will change and fall differently when you style it. Asked if I wanted to go home with my wet hair, or have her style it. So she dried my hair, and I'll say attempted too straighten it. You'll see in the picture how she left it, and how I had too fix it. She wasn't busy, when I left there were just the two stylist. So why not spend a tad more time and make the customer happy? I still tipped 15% because they don't make much money and I'm thinking she is new? But don't let my experience keep you from going. Just be firm about what you want, and speak up if you're not happy, which I should have done. Anyways You'll see the pictures and the difference, and that I fixed it. Not sure what order they're in, but you can tell.

I booked a haircut for my 5 year old daughter and I. The place was filthy! Other people's hair all over the floor, used foils in the sitting area and all over the place. In the sink to wash hair was filled with dirty coffee mugs. She explained she was short staffed so I let it slide but then when she started brushing my daughters hair she kept hurting her and scratching her with the brush she just ignored her and said "oh" instead of sorry. She argued about cutting her hair short like she wanted and I instructed her to cut her hair to shoulder length as it was mid way down her back. She didn't cut it to the length asked and she got my daughter to stand up while the hairdresser sat in the chair to see if it was an even length. Never ever in my life have I experienced this or seen a place so filthy. I did not go back for my haircut and my daughter and I will never return. Very disgusted and disappointed.

Loved this place....very modestly priced , I thought it was a sale.
I am very happy with my haircut....the hairdresser listened to what I was saying and she did what I asked.
Definitely will go back.

I went in for a cut and blonde foils. The cut was great, I love it! The blonde that was put in came out white/platinum blonde, which I didn’t even think would happen has I have had blonde foiIs done in the past and never had it come out white, and I was not asked by the stylist about what shade I wanted. I called the next day to find out if it could be darkened, the owner and stylist said yes with a toner. I went back in, got the toner put in by another stylist, although the previous one was there. After the blow dry the stylist said “some colour is stubborn and didn’t take well”, meaning some blonde was still white. Even with that said when I got to the counter I was charged $42 for a colour, on top of the $120 I spent the previous day on something I was unhappy with.
I didn’t expect it to be free, but thought a discounted price would be provided.
