In my opinion this is a first-class development. It's well planed out with playgrounds, trails and ponds. The town itself is growing. This is the 3rd development within the last 5 years to be built. More are to come. As a result of the population growth there is a brand-new school, hospital, Foodland, Tim Hortons and water tower. Whatever amenity is missing in Markdale can be found in Owen Sound which is only 30 minutes away.

Chapmans is a large employer in the area and is expanding. They are adding between 200 and 250 jobs. Chapmans is a responsible corporate citizen. They have donated a considerable amount of money to the building of the new school.

DO NOT buy from this developer, find another one in markdale. This developer changes zoning without telling its customers. You may pay $50-100k for a premium lot, then the developer will build rental duplexs in front of you or even beside you if they can't sell the lots! Please don't ignore this warning, shop elsewhere.

This is a lovely project and the homes are beautifully built with good quality. I wish the builder chose a better location that was closer to major amenities. It is too far out to any city if you have to commute.
