I can honestly attribute most of my success in sales to Dan Loks training and courses. He is hands down the best sales trainer living because he teaches to not be needy or dishonest and to close through thorough qualification of prospects. Alternatively, all other sales guru's I've heard teach to get the sale at all cost. Implementing Dan's sales straregy has increased my closing ratio, my number of buying clients, and my commissions. I've never left a Google review. Not to mention, writing a review of a person. But Dan Lok is, no doubt, worth it! Dan's teaching is ridiculously insightful. Even working as a mental health therapist for almost a decade and having studied different schools of psychology theories, I am still impressed at Dan's applications of these theories in the business field. His teaching isn't just about marketing skills. He begins working from within a person's mentality. He stresses a lot more in working within oneself before working on the outside because he believes this is the only way that have long lasting results. Although his teaching isn't quite targeted for management, what he has taught are very useful for managing employees. Above all, what makes him the best is how he genuinely teaches you everything he knows. He just doesn't hold back at all. He also tries his best to explain them to you so that you WILL understand them instead of just telling you everything and let you find your own way. The help he provides is beyond what other mentors and coaches in the business field or probably anywhere can offer. It's rare to find a successful businessman who is so selfless and tries his best to help whoever approaches him, regardless of their physical location, cultural background, gender, and even language.

The book gives a nice intro to how Dan first got started, his circumstances, and his persisting motivation! For me, I was originally looking for methods and strategies on how to develop a High Income skill, after seeing a video about how wealth is created. The book has similar strategies of changing your mindset, making clear actionable statements that can be done to start you on your path, like many other self help books. However, I really enjoyed reading about why it isn't easy to become a millionaire, that not just anyone can do it, and not just support and lip service how you will inevitably receive what you want. The book actually challenges our conviction of what we really want, and providing a way of transformation, however rare it may be. Much of his social media content and other advanced programs only add to the value that you'll receive from this book, but the book is otherwise a great jump-off point, for following a Self Built Millionaire.
