Daisy's Clay House - Owen Sound, Ontario

Myself and family went to Daisy’s Clay House for the first time a couple weeks ago. The weather wasn’t the greatest outside and we were trying to figure out something fun to do. This experience exceeded our expectations. There were so many pieces to choose from and we had an absolute blast! They were very kind and we enjoyed painting and exploring our creativity. Thank you a lot!

Cheese is Grate

Closed. AGAIN. I live in port elgin (40 minute drive away) and for the third time in a row after making a special trip during business hours I arrived to find the store closed up.

Most unprofessional. Getting pretty close to losing a customer. If you're only going to be open a few days a week maybe be open those few days a week.

I'd say, I'm a bit of a regular visitor to this quaint, fun establishment. It's a place to enjoy painting and creating. You are really only limited by your own imagination. No art skills needed, pick your piece, pick some colours, get some brushes and away you go. Enjoy the process! Then be patient for a couple of weeks when they let you know your piece has been kiln fired and ready for pick up. You will be amazed with your creation!!.Go with friends, go alone, bring your kids, or plan a ladies night out. The owners are sweet and very accommodating..JUST Go and check the place out!!!

I had an excellent first experience at Daisy’s Clay house and will definitely be returning! The staff member who was working was so kind and helpful. They have a large variety of items you can paint for all skill levels and the atmosphere really brings out your creativity! Can’t wait to be back!

Update: My piece was ready for pickup within 6 days, they just send you a text which was very convenient. I’m very happy with my plate and so thankful to the kind owners. I’ve added photos of the plate before and after the kiln.

Great concept, but it's 23 Dec '23 and they are scheduled to close at 7pm. Knowing this, I decided to get errands done before picking up my finished clay products. I arrived at 2pm, only to run into 3 other customers all reading a sign that the employees decided to close early. No warning; no communication; just closed early because...well... why not?! They do this two days before Christmas, leaving people who needed their finished products for presents in the dark. If you post regular hours, KEEP THEM, especially during the busy holiday season. The inconsiderate decision to randomly close was not appreciated by many and is generally so annoying.

The ladies here are so friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Both ladies are always willing to take the time to help you with anything you may need. Highly recommend visiting here. You won’t be disappointed ?. They offer so much selection on different pottery pieces, and I really enjoyed the stoneware piece I chose to paint.

Absolutely wonderful experience, our kids had so much fun, the owner went above and beyond in helping us get the pottery ready before we left Owen sound. I could not recommend this place more!!!

My girlfriend and I were staying in blue mountain for the week and decided to take a drive up to Owen Sound to see what the little town had to offer. Daisys Clay house stood out on the street so we decided to pop in.

During Covid times is rough, but they have everything set up to Abide by the 6 feet rule’s. She run us through styles of paint and have ALOT of options to chose from for paint and pre sculpted clay.

We painted a couple Christmas items and they turned out amazing ! We will make a return! Thank you !
