Love this place! Staff is fantastic! We went in the evening and it was so peaceful to sit and paint. We LOVE our mugs. Was a great date night idea. I notice some people complain about pricing but honestly when you factor in the amount of time you spend there in there store, using their paints and then they do the work of glazing and finishing off your product it really isn't that expensive
They allow you to come back and work on your project as many times as you need as some can be time consuming. Great memories created and lasting mugs to enjoy. Can't wait to go back!

Went for a friend’a birthday. It was all 3 of our first times doing this. Duncan was the employee on shift and he was hands down AMAZING!! We had an absolute blast and felt so comfortable after Duncan gave us some advice. Best playlist as well that helped us relax and stress less about how we are doing. Would absolutely recommend this to others and would go back any day!!

Have only been here a few times and each time the staff was super nice, was running late the most recent time and we apologized to the staff worker working there at the time, his name was Duncan and he was delightful kind and super helpful. The girl who was working before him was also super kind helpful and great, they answered any questions we had about what might look good on the pottery, how many coats would be enough, and was super kind and caring the whole time. If I could give them more stars I definitely would, always a fun time and they don’t make you feel rushed or that you’re being a nuisance to them or anything. They make you feel very comfortable and welcomed in the shop, will definitely be going again after such a delightful experience each time! Big props to Duncan for having such a positive effect on this experience and making us feel like valued customers.

Had my daughter’s birthday party here and it was amazing! Duncan was an incredible host and quickly became one of my daughter’s favorite people. He made her feel so special and was so kind and patient with all the kids. We’ve been here several times and will continue to go back. Thank you Duncan for making my daughter’s 8th birthday party one she’ll remember!

I gifted my daughters a trip to the create it emporium for Christmas. We truly enjoyed this experience however I wouldn't bring my 4 yr old back till she is maybe a bit older. The prices are not cheap, we spent $78 on 2 small trinket dishes and a ornament. I do feel like it's worth it for those who take their time and create a master piece and make memories there. What I wasn't very happy with is the glazing and kiln process. One of our dishes came out with glaze drip marks and uneven finish due to under/over glazing on that particular spot. Also there were scratches on the bottom of said dish. I just feel like if I am paying that much ($26 for one trinket dish) and taking my time to create a peice that they shouldn't be the ones to "mess it up". I was a little bit disappointed. The different marks are more noticeable in person due to the shiny finish. I didn't even take pictures of all the blemishes.
All that being said I would absolutely go back and give em another chance before writing them off if you will.

Had an awesome time painting some dishes for our Anniversary. It's about $30 for a bowl. But for sitting there for 2 hours, painting and enjoying the day it was definitely worth it. They also have some smaller trinkets, and they do birthday parties! So glad I don't have to drive to North Vancouver to paint pottery anymore.
