I’ve been left with destroyed and damaged hair right before the holidays. I was recommended to a stylist from the owner herself. I was told she was a senior stylist and would easily be able to give me the look I was wanting. I left the first night after 7 hours with very dark, damaged hair and nothing like what I had asked for. After getting my hair done for years by other stylists I knew how incorrect and damaged my hair was. Being incredibly disappointed with how much time and what I was charged, I reached out to the owner to get it fixed. She insisted that I go back to the same girl for a correction and that if I didn’t want to see her, I would have to wait 6-8 weeks to see someone else. Obviously with it being a week before the holidays I was desperate to get it fixed sooner than later. So I confirmed with the owner that the stylist could fix my hair and she insisted she could. I was hesitant but went back. I left with my hair absolutely destroyed. My once healthy, long blonde hair that I had asked to blend my root out into my blonde and tone down the brightness, has been left so stripey, orange and broken. The hair I’ve spent years growing out is snapped. I’ve spent years getting my hair healthy and long, and I now have chunks that have been broken off. I reached out again, panicked at the state of my hair and hoping for some help. The owners solution was a refund and I was told I could call the salon to book in with another random stylist with a 6-8 week wait to get it fixed. I told her I was more concerned about getting it fixed but was told I would have to wait. Prior to booking I had explained that I was going on a trip and wanted to see someone before I went, and was told that I easily could. Now I most likely will going on my first vacation in over 8 years with hair that looks horrible because they won’t fix it for me before then. After reaching out to the owner THREE times I am beyond devastated and so disappointed with how things were handled. Being a salon that claims to specialize in blonding and advertising that they go the extra mile, it could not be further from the truth. After inquiring with another stylists from other salons, they were appalled at the condition and look of my hair; and are so concerned about the damage that was done.

I feel so sad leaving such a poor review, as the stylist who did my hair was incredibly sweet and tried so hard to fix it. Mistakes happen and that’s okay! But how you handle the mistake is what counts, and that is why I am so appalled and shocked at the treatment I received after contacting the owner about the condition and concerns of my hair. Being told that I have to wait months to get it fixed after being promised, and recommended to see a senior stylist is so wrong. And then my only option is to go back to the same stylist to be left with my hair now after the owner was fully aware of the condition it was already in is not okay. I wouldn’t recommend Create to anyone, to be treated and handled this way after such a big mistake is truly shocking and I don’t wish for anyone else to be in the position I am currently in.

I absolutely love the atmosphere at Create space hair!
Camryn did an absolute phenomenal job setting up the appointment with asking questions around what I would like to achieve for my hair, laying out a realistic timeline, and price point and answering any further questions I had. She was very professional, and the conversation throughout my session had me feeling comfortable and welcomed in this space.
At the end of my appointment I was absolutely in love with the colour placement, tone and style she provided for me!
I highly recommend Camryn for meeting your hair goals - will keep coming back!

I had my haircut with Serena last weekend, and it was easily one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had! Serena listened to what I wanted and perfectly replicated the style I envisioned. On top of that, she’s such a kind and friendly person. My hair looks amazing and I’ve received so many compliments since! The space itself has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. I’ll definitely be back!

After finally committing to finding a hair dresser in Chilliwack so I didn’t have to travel so far to my previous stylist I am so happy. I saw Serena for a decent hair chop. She listened to what I wanted and continued to check throughout my appointment. She was so friendly and kind. Happy to have found a new stylist I can trust. All the girls here are so nice! I was welcomed with smiles! Grateful for this place!

Sarah was very polite and professional. I brought a photo of the hairstyle I was thinking about. She adapted it to my hair type and facial structure. Going from long hair to a short cut takes some adjustment. So I was
pleased to know that I could come back and tweak it a bit if I wasn’t totally happy after living with it for a few days.

Stella Mackay is the most wonderful hair stylist I’ve ever been to! She does fantastic work with my hair, I trust her to “be creative and do whatever she thinks looks best”. She is so friendly and amazing to chat with. If you’re not seeing Stella for your hair, you got to start! I am visiting Chilliwack and was recommended to have my hair done by Jessie. I was looking to go from some grey and some red. Jessie was very up front about price and time. After 6.75 hours I could not be more pleased with the results. The whole experience was amazing. I have curly hair so was anxious see how it was with the colour change and shorter than I usually have it. I am beyond thrilled

I was able to book a "curly cut" for a next day appointment with Camryn. She was available earlier than my booked time and called to see if I was able to come in which was convenient. She listened to my requests and did a great job with my haircut, and was easy to talk to during my visit. As an extra bonus she gave me a "holiday" deal for pricing and a few take home samples for shampoo, conditioner, and curly treatment. She also told me that I can take a bit to feel out the new cut and see if my curls need a slight tweak anywhere that I can come in to adjust if needed.
