Nous étions 4 couples et nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cette auberge de jeunesse et nous avons vraiment apprécié son confort. |Les chambres individuelles sont vastes et bien équipées, bureau, chaise, fauteuil, télévision, et très calmes. |La salle de bain est complète avec sèche cheveux. |L'accueil est très sympathique et le rapport qualité prix imbattable.|Bus à 5 minutes à pied pour 3 dollars ou 2 dollars pour plus de 65 ans. |Une bonne adresse à retenir que je vous recommande vivement.

On ne s'attendait pas à ça, chambre ressemble à un dortoir et était assez désuet mais convient pour la nuit.
Dejeuner offert le lendemain, style cafétéria, un peu surprise et déçu mais comestibles. Pour dépanner dans le moins cher cest passable.

My partner and I had a lovely stay for two nights. Clean, quiet and welcoming space. Check in was easy and the room was basic but spotless with everything we needed. The price was reasonable and included a simple breakfast which was served in the cafeteria downstairs by a pleasant and capable cook. The food was good and the perfect amount to get us started for the day. Overall it is a great place far from the grit of downtown, but with good transit. UBC is a beautiful spot to walk around and enjoy the gardens and views of the water and mountains. Would definitely recommend for people on a budget.

My Stay at Carey Centre, Vancouver
I spent six wonderful nights at Carey Centre near UBC, enjoying delicious continental breakfasts each morning and a consistently tidy, comfortable room. It was perfectly located close to my daughter's dormitory, which made our daily visits effortless and joyful. The reception and housekeeping staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive always ready to help and eager to solve any issue. Their warm hospitality made a real difference in my stay. If I travel to Canada again, I'll definitely choose Carey Centre once more!

My wife and I stayed here the week of July 13th. The location could not be better. We were within a mile of the beach and some beautiful hiking trails, 1/2 mile of Regent College and all the restaurants we could need, even closer to the UBC bus hub. The housekeeping service was the stand out for excellence. Most of the breakfast staff was just fine, but there was one woman on the line who was intolerably rude to my wife one morning. I wanted to follow up with management concerning her but lacked opportunity. The breakfast itself was fine, though I ended up just walking down to Tim Horton's for "much better than 'fine'." 🙂 The room is, well, a dorm room. It was way too small for two people. If I were alone, it would have been manageable. I had to trade out both the fan and the coffee maker for working ones, but that was easily done. If it had not been naturally cool that week, the lack of AC would have been a problem. I hope to return to Vancouver, but I will most likely try to negotiate better accommodations.

Good: comfortable, firm beds including the sofa bed. clean sheets and kitchen. Breakfast better than reviews, it was adequate and filling. Service at reception and breakfast was excellent and efficient. Convenient parking and location. Not so good: bathroom had a funny smell, prison toilet paper, parking fee should be included, no AC!

I stayed at Carey center for 8 nights. It was an awesome experience. It reminds me of memories studying at UBC. Even though the campus is quite far from downtown but it is so much better than noises. The place is quite, neat, and every staff at Carey center is nice. But there's one thing that I want to suggest. During the stay room cleaning service was not properly served. For instance, during 8 nights of stay, room cleaning was served only three times. So I should get towels and other stuff by myself. And also the garbage can should be empty more often by the cleaning staff as there's only one and if seldom room cleaning service are served. Except those things above overall I loved to stay at Carey center. Hope to visit again when I visit Vancouver again. Highly recommend!
