My husband and I got engaged in Greece summer of 2023! And as we were still on vacation, my sister called the venue she knew we wanted to get married at to get some dates. As we made it to the second location of our trip, there was a date we were interested in...but knew we had to get in contact with Captivate to make sure they were available. They had done my sisters videography back in 2015, and have done a few other weddings both my husband and I had been apart of in the meantime. We knew we needed them...so I emailed Adam while I was still in Portugal on vacation to get in touch and see if they were available for our July 2024 wedding date. Lucky us, they were! And it was one of the best decisions we made. Throughout the years seeing Captivates work, we knew their quality was amazing, and everyone we know who had used them only had amazing things to share.
From our first initial phone conversation, to everything in between, we knew we were in good hands. The quality of our photos and videography is unreal! As my husband and I look back on the footage, we realize moments we have forgotten about as the day came and went so quickly! And we're so thankful Captivate has it all for us to look back on. From the first call itself, Adam was such a lovely person to speak to and work with. We greatly appreciated the time he took to get to know us and what we wanted on our special day versus just telling us what he could do for us. We had a two-day event and the pricing he provided was very reasonable. Encourage everyone to ask for Adam himself to cover your day, it makes a difference when the person you’re speaking to is also the photographer on your day. Adam’s knowledge and experience in the Niagara region was an asset, especially given we aren’t from there. Adam guided us on locations to do our engagement and wedding shoots and the backdrops he chose were perfect.

We did both photo & video for the two days and the team was extremely thoughtful, professional and efficient on the days. They were on time, organized us and our wedding party really well and were extremely accommodating to everyone around them. We even ended up upgrading to the longer video which turned out great given Taylor & Ryan had captured amazing footage over the two days! They were truly in the shadows but managed to capture amazing memories that will live with us for a lifetime!

Captivate developed a promotional video for our organization and made every step of the entire process easy and fun. Adam took our simple idea and ran with it and the creative vision that he and his team were able to build and accomplish was truly stellar. We found out about Adam and his team from friends of ours who also used Captivate for their wedding photos/video. We loved how their pictures turned out so when me and my now wife were engaged, there was no question as to who we wanted our photographer to be for our wedding. Adam really knows his stuff -about literally everything! Every meeting we had, Adam was very attentive to details and really listened to what we wanted and gave excellent advice when there were things we weren’t too sure about.

On our wedding day, Captivate was able to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere throughout the whole day and captured all of those precious moments that get forgotten about during the craziness. A big thank you to Adam, Nick and Blake for the amazing photos on our wedding day. The team was extremely professional and helped both parties feel comfortable in front of the camera, capturing amazing candid moments from getting ready to the reception. The engagement photos are a great way of getting to know the way that they do it. We opted for the video as well, and Taylor on editing did an absolutely amazing job, incorporating our favourite songs and shots. We cannot recommend them enough.
