My 10 year old daughter did a soapstone carving class over the summer and loved it! It was her first time and I was so impressed with the quality of her work and the opportunity for her to try something completely different. Penny and her team were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter felt welcome and safe. I will certainly be enrolling my daughter in again and I’m sure over time we will be trying all the unique classes.

I highly recommend Canvastone Children’s art studio! We were originally drawn there for the soapstone carving classes for our 10 year old son. Soon after starting, he wanted to join every activity! The summer painting camps were a fantastic way for him to try out both the painting and drawing classes in 1 week. Now, he’s signing up for soapstone carving, painting and drawing this fall! Penny, the owner, is such a lovely, bright lady. You can tell she loves what she does. We feel fortunate to have found her and her art studio. Her classes bring our son so much joy and he is making such beautiful pieces of art.

We love sending our kid to the classes. He is 8 years old, been here for a year attending painting and soapstone craving. He enjoying and fabulous teaching. We really love it. Teachers and the owner(Penny) greatly doing their best for the kids.
My kids (Vettrivel) loves art work and this is great place for art loving kids. He going to continue is classes next year too.

My kids just recently had the opportunity to participate in a week-long summer camp at Canvastone art studio, and they both loved it. They worked on both drawings and paintings throughout the week. The projects they completed were beautiful and quite unique. I was very impressed with the quality and detail of the projects themselves, as well as the frames that were used to display each piece of their work. We ended up enrolling our kids in a second camp later on in the summer because we were so pleased with this art school. We will definitely be back next summer. Thank you, Penny for the wonderful experience.

My son has been attending Canvas stone art studio for about 2.5 years now. He has been able to try painting, drawing and soapstone classes and he LOVES it! Our experience has been amazing! Penny truly has a passion and love for teaching others and running a program that not only kids enjoy, but is so flexible with family schedules and has easy communication it makes the overall experience a 5/5. My son comes out after every class with a smile on his face excited to share what he is working on or finished. The quality of art the children is doing is beyond what I thought my son could ever achieve at his age. But Canvas stone is setup in such a way to allow these students to be successful. I would highly recommend this art studio to anyone interested.

Canvastone Children's Art School has been a great experience for our family. My eldest daughter has been part of the school for over three years now and thoroughly enjoys her time there. The close-knit atmosphere at the studio has been something she values, and the quality of the artwork produced there is truly impressive. Great Art School!
