I had the pleasure of interviewing Brian for a segment I do on The Weather Network called Candid Closeup. He's passionate and knowledgeable about the outdoors, weather and his clients. He knows the area intimately and his photography is proof of that. Brian told me that no matter the weather, he knows where to take his clients to get the best pictures possible. I joined Brian Merry for his "Cape Breton Colours" tour in October 2021 and was very impressed with the quality of the presentations and how helpful he was if I had any questions. He took us to lesser known areas in addition to the Cabot Trail that are great places to photograph. I would do another tour for sure.
