Loved the variety in flavours of ice cream that they have!! We had the local favourite Nanaimo bar and Captain Crooked flavours. Both were amazing. Although we visited the store past its closing time, the lady at the counter served us without any complaints and was sweet enough to serve the entire line of customers who came even after us!! This place is very close to Bridal Veil falls I'm Manitoulin Island and one can even walk to this shop from the falls!

We were at Bridal veil falls a few years back and didn't dare enter because it was so busy here. We visited yesterday, Oct 6 2024 in the off season to pick up some treats for our son. Nice selection, decent pricing.

Not as awe inspiring as we thought it might be, but last time we were in the area, it was peak season, with a peak volume of tourists.

Cool place, would return.

Lots of retro candy, you could spend a while in this store reminiscing about the retro candies of your youth! Bought quite a bit of stuff in here, it's quite the place! They even have INDIVIDUAL packets of the powdered Kool-Aid which they used to sell here in Canada at the grocery store when I was a kid in the 80's, now they don't anymore. Wicked store.

This candy store has been a must-stop for our family every summer since we started coming here over 10 years ago. Love the updated decor and new ice cream shop and the service was outstanding however the selection of candy has noticeably dwindled since previous summers. We noticed this last summer and were optimistic that it was a one time thing but when we visited this summer shelves and baskets were quite bare and all our favourites were missing (ie the salt water taffy, bottle caps).

From our little visit, I saw tons of candies I once knew from my childhood. You like M&M's? Try 10 different styles! Same with so many other classics.

It's a great trip in nostalgia and a good place to enjoy a treat.

It's a nice stop if you're visiting the area!

Edit: almost empty, new owners didn't fill the shelves and not much to buy. Not worth it.

Great candy shop. Tons of variety. Social distancing stickers on the floor and masks required as well which was appreciated. The service was great as well - the kind man working the cash register (who I believe is the owner) asked our daughter if she liked a particular Beanie Baby and then gave it to her for free. A lovely gesture. Thank you so much!

What an amazing store! I felt like a kid.....in a candy shop (Haha!) The sweets are delicious! The gum drops are so good (try the blue raspberry!) and the salt water taffy! The place reminds me of Willy Wonka and the staff were sweethearts. Don't forget to grab a basket (at the front door in front of the cashier) because you will end up leaving with a lot of sweets! It was worth it!

I love this place!!! Took my kids here for their birthday and told them to literally be like kids in a candy store! We ended up with a very full basket hahaha. They have so many things that you just don't see or cant find anywhere else!!! I've grown up visiting family on the Island and going to this store is always the highest point of my visit! 😉 You won't be disappointed!
