Firstly I saw these little penguins which were ABSOLUTELY adorable, then i decided to paint a pottery piece.

I’m not a great painter but i tried painting lavender flowers and different flower designs. Their selection of colours is incredible and it seems like there’s an endless amount of shades, from light to dark to sparkles and pottery glazes. I’ve shared a before and after with my piece to show how shiny and pretty it became.

The atmosphere was welcoming and the workers were incredibly nice. I would definitely come back again and paint something special ?

A fun experience with some friends, quite pricey for some of the larger items but that’s understandable considering all the paint, the kilns and the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Went for a birthday party which they do after the store closes it seems. Lots of Christmas decorations and ornament options too. I wish there wasn’t a ‘made in china’ on the bottom of the ceramics though…

I was very disappointed when I attended a special event at Bella Ceramica, specifically the Sea Glass Light Up Tree workshop. For the price point, I was expecting to take home a craft I would display as decor. However, there was not enough sea glass for the number of attendees (not everyone could finish), never mind getting the right colours needed for your design.
The blame was put on the attendees, with statements such as we cannot control what colours were 'popular' and how many supplies individuals used (while most attendees had patchy-looking trees compared to the one in their advertisement). They simply needed more sea glass/supplies and should have done something, such as a coupon for future events, for individuals unable to finish due to the lack of supplies. The instructor mentioned previous workshops ran out of glue sticks, leaving the impression that running out of supplies is normal. A craft workshop at this price point should not run out of supplies.

This is an awesome place to come and spend the better part of a day. Anytime I've been here it's very quiet and not too busy. Staff are there to answer any questions and walk you through the process, I like to do the drop ins and select one of their pre-made figures to paint. They have a pretty impressive array of paints to choose from and are happy to walk you through the different kinds and which ones to not mix. Everything is laid out very clearly price wise and it's a borderline therapeutic experience. If you don't have time to finish your project, they will set it aside for the next time you come by.

Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys artsy projects or just wants do put on some music and chill while mindlessly painting.

I payed 200$ for products, and I sent my mom to pick up the pottery. They closed an hour before hand and my mom had been standing behind the door. They refuse to open the door even tho they are in there.

I thought this place was great but their prices were god AWFUL! $40 CAD EACH just to paint!? It is SO MUCH CHEAPER in the states! I don’t think I will come back. For a multiple family you could be paying $100+ just to paint when you can do it at home and buy stuff at Walmart or something. So moreover I would not recommend this place. DIY at home is MUCH CHEAPER
