At my first appointment, Nico explained his approach, asking for reference images and collaborating with me to create a design before tattooing- it made the experience feel thoughtful and personal. He listened carefully to my ideas, then offered thoughtful suggestions to turn my ideas into a cohesive design for my tattoo. He even checked in with me twice to make sure I was happy with his vision for how the pieces would come together.

Nico and his studio are so unique, there’s not another studio in Ottawa like his. I asked him for 3 small basic pieces as that is what I wanted but no doubt his talent stands out through all his creations. I trusted him with my first neck tatt and it’s my absolute favourite out of all mine. He made me feel comfortable and at ease during the process and is willing to work with your ideas while incorporating his own. Which is what most artists should do! 100 % love his personality and work and will definitely be back in future when I have more ideas!

I can’t recommend this shop (in particular, Nico) enough. I’ve had a few pieces done by him, including a large dragon on my hip (my absolute favorite tattoo to date!) as well as more sentimental pieces like my dog’s paw print and my late father’s name. Each one means so much to me, and Nico brought them to life perfectly.

The shop is welcoming, professional, and clean, and Nico makes you feel comfortable no matter the size of the piece. The detail and care that went into my dragon was incredible, and the smaller tattoos were handled with just as much precision and thoughtfulness.

I can’t wait to see Nico work his magic with another piece next month!
