Wow wow wow. My partner and I stayed here on our first trip to Canada, whilst I learnt pottery with Diane. This was one of the best trips we have ever had, and Nelson has a special place in our heart after staying at this magical spot.

The view is out of this world. The suite is totally surrounded by nature yet still close to the beautiful town centre. Inside is packed with lovely locally made artwork which I loved, as well as the BEST bed.

Diane is a lovely person and it was a delight to get to know her and experience her stunning studio next door. Cannot recommend staying here enough!

My wife and I had an incredible stay at Diane’s artistic suite in Nelson, BC. Her space is nothing short of spectacular, with beautiful artwork and a keen attention to detail. The suite was immaculate, with stylish and comfortable furnishings that made us feel right at home. Diane has thoughtfully stocked the place with everything you might need, so all you need to bring is a few groceries. We even enjoyed fresh kale and tomatoes from the garden outside of the suite for our sandwiches!

The location is perfect—close to town with stunning views of the water and mountains. The art studio in the back was a delightful bonus to view Diane's gorgeous artwork and to meet other local artists in her classes. Diane was a wonderful and caring host, and an overall lovely person. This was one of the best experiences we’ve had. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Diane!

This was beyond valuable to my art practice and my overall wellness. I've never had the opportunity to be so immersed in my work with no distractions. I even surprised myself with my level of hyperfocus. I hired Diane for some 1:1 lessons and I learned so much from her that I wanted to just practice and practice. I look forward to returning as often as I can. The accommodation was perfect and Nelson is such an amazing place!

This was a little slice of heaven. The Suite was clean warm and cozy and fully equipped with hand made dishes and a slow cooker. The bed was exquisitely comfortable. The studio was an artist’s dream and the gardens leading up to it were magnificent, even in winter. I took part in a bowl making workshop and the fun I had. The instruction was wonderful and the other participants were fun and friendly. The two things I loved most were the spectacular view of the mountains and the lake and the network of hiking trails within a hundred feet of the door. No, there wasn't enough snow for skiing this trip but who cares, there was so much else to do. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, “I’ll be back.” Thank you for a beautiful Art-Catian , Diane. It was magic.

This is our third visit to this gem of a place. The spot has everything needed to make for a very cosy home away from home . Diane has been very kind , supportive and helpful in meeting all our needs. A bonus is her incredible artistic abilities starting with how thoughtfully she has decorated the apartment to her skills as a potter extraordinaire . Her upbeat outlook in life makes any stay here more enjoyable. The location in the heart of Nelson gives you easy access to the many amenities of this unique town.

We cannot say enough about Diane’s incredible warmth and hospitality, not to mention her inspired sense of color & design.

We traveled all day through a harrowing winter storm, arriving to a warm and inviting nest, complete with Christmas cookies & coffee at the ready for our slow morning the next day.

The Gallery Suite features beautiful pieces from some of Nelson’s local artists, and the suite itself is gorgeously decorated. Not to mention the wonderful dishes — handmade pottery by Diane herself.

At the end of a dead-end street, walking distance to downtown, a stones throw from the community rail trail, and adjacent to Diane’s eArth pottery studio, the location cannot be beat.

This place is fantastic, nice and cozy and the fireplace is a bonus in winter. There's everything you need for either a short or a long stay and the host is very friendly.

Wonderful find in Nelson. Beautifully set up suite. Very clean, well equipped and cozy. Gas fireplaces in both main room and bedroom made for a very comfortable winter stay. Diane our host was welcoming and readily available to answer our questions and give us recommendations. We would love to return one day. Would highly recommend this suite.
