I attended an art education session for primary teachers, and Joanna was simply amazing. Her passion for educating and art was evident, and the sheer amount of ideas we came away with were endless. Wow! Just such a beautiful, creative, nourishing, amazing experience learning and exploring with Joanna! Her studio is colourful and fun ! Thank you for an inspirational and uplifting Teacher Professional development session. The time and effort you put into prepping numerous valuable art supplies and moving parts for our lesson toolbox was noted and much appreciated. You demonstrated process while valuing flexibility, range and individuality , noted artistic vocabulary while showing passion and skill in how you taught each step to us. It was such a joy to learn from and work with you and then when we didn’t think it could get any better you gifted us with a wonderfully unique mindfulness journey book at the end of our session. Some of us were crying tears of joy acknowledging your truth and inspiration. I have so many good ideas to take back to my classroom, including many excellent children’s book references. Art with Joanna is amazing from the moment the child first enters her studio until they leave with their wonderfully creative creations! All of our children (ages 6, 8 and 10) have been to Joanna's art classes and camps and they all ask when they get to go back again. Joanna is child-centered, kind, energetic and inspires a love of art...we are so blessed to have her in our community!

Miss Joanna is my daughter's favorite person in the whole world! For the past couple years we've been giving our daughter art classes for her birthday and every time she has been over the moon about it. Joanna is the kindest most gentle most creative person I have ever met. We're so happy to have her in the region and if you've ever considered taking a class with her what are you waiting for? Do it! Her space is so welcoming and inviting and from what my daughter says, gets her creative juices flowing.

We have been pleased to send our daughters to Joanna's art classes and this site hasn't even begun to express her passion and creativity that is poured out on the students she inspires. We enjoy watching our girls as they learn new techniques and are encouraged to try new ideas at home. Joanna's classes have been a catalyst in our daughters love of crafts, painting and sculpting.
