I had the pleasure of meeting Glen and his wife this weekend. My mother and I and purchased propolis tinctures, honey comb, liquid honey, lip balm and a few gift bags. It was nothing less that a joyful and educational experience...not only were we greeted with warm smiles and open arms, but we got to see where the honey was made and a behind the scenes view of honey manufacturing. I have always wanted to find a local bee farmer and I feel that we have hit the jackpot.

The most important part of this review, which is almost shadowed by the lovely customer service experience we had...THE HONEY!!!. ...wow...the more I taste it, the more I appreciate and fall in love with the layers of wild flowers!! if you are lucky enough to be in the area, please treat yourself to this experience and visit Arnold's Apiary.

Not sure which one was better, the honey or the people!
Driving past this hidden gem was a wrong turn worth making. We went back before we headed back home on the last day of our cottage stay and Glen gave our group an excellent demonstration on how honey is extracted.

The kids and the adults had a great time there. Our next visit won't be because we got lost again! 😉
