As I approached my 50th birthday I knew I wanted portraits done - both for the experience and to mark this time in my life.

I am lucky to know many skilled photographers, but I was hoping for an experience with someone I didn't know (as part of my 50for50 project). I'd expected to travel west for this BUT --> then I found Alexis! ✨

From start to finish Alexis has been amazing to work with... communicative, helpful, encouraging (most of us are nervous about stepping in front of the lens!), and FUN! So much of how she engages + shoots is in line with me and my philosophy, it was THE perfect gift to myself for this milestone.

We captured a bunch of looks, laughed, chatted, danced, and I am now the very proud owner of portraits that I will so happily hold onto, share, and pass down.

It's not every portrait photographer who can simultaneously capture 'you' while maintaining their own style... Alexis can and is gloriously able to make it a pleasure all the while!

Alexis is not just the best photographer in the Bow Valley, but the best photographer I have ever worked with, period! I have to admit that getting new head shots is not at the top of my fun list of things to do, but Alexis put me at ease from the moment I walked into the studio. I can’t recommend Alexis highly enough! Getting photographed is not my favorite thing. Alexis made it fun and easy, and did an incredible job capturing my profession photos. The package came with 3 and I ended up buying an additional 3 because I couldn’t choose! Turnaround time was excellent. The makeup artist that worked on my was also spectacular- came right to the studio which was great. Alexis and her team are pros and I highly recommend them!

I knew my session would turn out well, but the photos managed to exceed my expectation! I needed new acting headshots and knew what I wanted. I just didn't know how to get there. Alexis was able to take my jumble of wardrobe and accessories and put together several very specific character profiles.
