I had a wonderful time taking a private class with Amanda! She was so helpful when teaching me to make the flower pot of my dreams, while keeping the class super fun. Cannot recommend mud makers enough, I will def be going back!

Mud Makers is the most welcoming studio, encouraging you to express yourself without judgment. The space is a swell of creativity that makes you feel at home, whether you are a professional artist or a kid working with clay for the first time. As a beginner, I relied on the generous instructors to walk me through the hand building process and was always delighted by the results! Can’t recommend it enough!

Myself and my partner went to this gorgeous studio when our infant was 6 weeks old to do a hanging ceramic piece of her itty bitty footprint. Amanda guided us through the activity with light, laughter and joy. It felt like a great way to escape from our routine of being stuck at home with our baby (it almost felt like a date!) and the custom piece ended up being gorgeous, and something that we will treasure forever. After we completed the activity Amanda had us choose custom colours and did the glazing for us. We picked up the piece a week later. Can't wait to participate in further workshops and explore ceramics more!

A beautiful space with very kind, welcoming and helpful artists and instructors. Mud Makers welcome clay enthusiasts of all kinds and are great at teaching and encouraging adults and kids alike. I consider this space more than a studio -- it is a place for art therapy and freedom of expression.

I have always wanted to make some items with clay and after hearing about Amanda and Mud Makers I thought I would give it a try. I love it, but to be honest I am not sure which I like most, the creation of the piece or the comfortable reassuring teaching Amanda provides. No such thing as not creative- have fun, relax and enjoy your pieces.

A neighbourhood gem! Amanda combines her training in fine art with her Masters of Education to deliver fantastic classes for groups of all ages/abilities. The space (when open) is clean, bright, and inclusive. Great idea for an activity with kids or a corporate (online) event.
