Flew YXY-YDA on Feb 19 and YDA-YXY on Feb 21. Cute airport! Don't expect a hyper-modern terminal but you will find board games, an amazing view, super efficient and the most enthusiastic staff, all in a cozy atmosphere fitting with the vibe of Dawson City.

Airport & Air North staff, if you see this review, please give a thumbs up to David, our flight attendant on both Feb 19 & 21. He is so friendly and passionate! It's touching.

Overall, as an avgeek, this is such an amazing airport to fly to/from!

Fun fact that I learned during the trip: the airport was unpaved until 2019!

It was a blast into the past, (I'm thinking Ottawa airport in the early 1960's). About 15 feet between check-in, baggage drop off, baggage delivery from newly arrived flights and door to the tarmac for exiting passengers. Very efficient, with very friendly Air North professionals who knew their business. My dream of how flying should be.

The Air North is a really bad airline. Passengers occupied 2 seats per people,so if you are at the back of queue, you must find a seat for yourself, nobody will help you. If you can understand well some white language , you will be pushed from front seat and nobody help you get a new seat! Bad Airline, I firmly suggest that don’t select them.
