Carlos has always shown great attention to detail, particularly in aligning his work with my tastes & what he felt I would like. The pearl & conch pendant was made around 2000/2001 & the beryl pear pendant in 2003; they are both gorgeous & so special to me. I also had a much earlier piece - a necklace made after we first met when he was 16 ! It was very Indie with malachite, leather & silver wire, but my daughter claimed that several years ago... highly recommended

My wife and I had originally gone to Carlos to have our wedding bands and my wife's engagement ring made. We went through the design and details of what we wanted with Carlos and he helped us design rings that would last forever. He had our best interests in mind throughout the design process, steering us away from things that wouldn't last or work for a ring thats worn forever. He took pride in his creation and wanted us to be happy but also have something that was made to last forever and be worn everyday.

After the rings were made I have gone to Carlos to have a white gold nose ring, a nosering for me and he made a gold nosering for my wife. He even handmade a hinge in my noserings which is quite a wonder of fabrication.

My wife and I trust Carlos. He's a noble man who cares about the things he creates and the people wearing them.

It was a great experience going to him with an idea and seeing him bring it to life.

I have dealt with Carlos Grobler of Aurelio Studio for the past five years. I had to stop and think about how to encapsulate my beautiful jewellery made by him so that others can feel his talent. There really is no beginning and no end to his talent: he is on a continuum. This is the best way to describe his talent and the timeless jewellery he creates. His jewellery will always be.

The world is your oyster with Carlos as your jeweller. He can remodel what you have, he can make jewellery to your specifications, he can repair antique or modern jewellery, but for me I simply let him create what he wants. I let the artist in him be an artist and I am always thrilled with the result. Recently I had a Victorian bangle set with old diamonds remade into a stunning pair of diamond drop earrings. At the moment a vintage platinum chain has gone to him with old Edwardian gold wedding bands to create a necklace with diamond stations with the kick of the diamond stations being surrounded by the old gold and the diamonds will be of different sizes, meaning this necklace will be asymmetrical and symmetrical simultaneously. This will not be the usual diamond station necklace we are used to seeing. This will be a piece of art!
