Compared to Grey Hound, these buses are quite well. My only complaint was the bus driver didn’t care the bathroom didn’t have any toilet paper or hand sanitizer. 3/10 that wasn’t cool dude. The station however in Thunder Bay was clean and the fella at the desk was quite helpful.

I've only used northland twice. Both times it was a positive experience. They hired personable drivers who helped made a terrible experience more bearable.

I want to say what a great experience i got today from your driver. I don't know his name but he drives the evening run from Emo (which is where i got on) to Thunder Bay. His customer relations with the public is outstanding and is an excellent example for your company.
Thank you to you Sir.

Naively thinking this bus company would be more professional or, better, than the G-hound predecessor for this crucial access to northwestern Ontario.
It's perhaps worse than before. Unfortunately the stereotypical bus travel woes are omnipotent: It smells. The wifi doesn't work. The charging blocks don't work (why pretend to offer these services?) Half the passengers seem strung out and are scary to be around. Masks seems very optional. And the bus driver was a complete crackpot talking to himself and was, quite frankly, unnerving. Absolutely ZERO costumer service. You weigh and tag your bags yourself - fine. But no one directs you to do this until the bus arrives and then you are told condescendingly by the driver to do it. NO CARE whatsoever about the schedule. The tv screen lying to you at the station that your bus is on time as it isn't even there and then when it does arrive it seems to be the surly and unkempt driver's whim as to your departure time.
This is the reason parents don't let their teenage kids take the bus. This is why scenes in movies and tv depicting long-haul bus rides are so sadly funny.
I cannot recommend this service and I myself only used it out of complete necessity.
Awful experience. I am so saddened that there is no safe and comfortable access to NWO unless you have your own wheels.
Travel safe everyone.
