I cannot speak higher of the staff at Centre Grey Builders & Supplies. They have helped me on so many occasions figure out what materials would work best for our budget, help me when my thoughts are disorganized and all over the place, and even help support our small farm sanctuary!

The staff and owners are incredibly kind, thoughtful, welcoming and really knowledgeable. I look forward to visiting the store always for our next projects!

The store seems small for a building store when you walk in
Don’t let that fool you they have a ton of stuff accumulated over the years and have all sorts of odds and ends. I just found out the other day they carry Kerdi shower kits in stock.
Staff is helpful and will make an effort to recognize you. They have had the same group of gentlemen for years.
The owner was helpful in putting together a floor plan for my new build 800 square foot garage even though I had sourced my ijoists elsewhere. He was a lifesaver.

I have been in lots of building supply stores all over Ontario, and I have to say hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced. I asked about a product that I could buy at the big box store and they goggle it and said ya we can make that kit of stuff for you and it even worked out cheaper.

There seems to be just positive reviews here so I feel compelled to post about the horrible customer service I encountered recently. I went in to order composite boards for my deck. First Aaron ordered the wrong number of boards required for the measurements, and then when they were delivered they were short 2 boards that no one could account for. Calls to try to get answers were not returned (which seems to be a common occurrence according to many long time residents). The missing boards showed up about 3-4 weeks later but I chose to order the remainder of my order from Hatton's in Chatsworth, where the service was excellent. It's unfortunate that many in the Markdale area have to do the same. I think most people try to support the local businesses, so I hope the owners take note that they are losing business due to poor customer service.

Very helpful here, if they don't have the part you need they try their best to fix your old one.

These guys are great, very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that they don't stock many of the items in thier weekly flyer.
