GORGEOUS. I have never seen clearer ocean water in Canada, ever!! The beach itself is pretty big and it’s sand! Not a lot of seaweed and volcanic rock around you

July 23/2018 Whaling Station Bay on the northeast side.The history of the area goes by its name.The views on this side just keep on getting better.Hornby Island is the WOW factor for places to ride a bike and or hangout on the beaches.Hike over to Cape Gurney and check out the unique rock formations along the shore.This Bay area operated as a whaling station port from 1871.One of the reasons for decimation of the whale population.
