TDS has become my daughters happy place, the dedication these teachers have is outstanding. Not only is dance taught but friendships are made, team work is important, safety is top priority, the confidence building is brought on every single class. I highly recommend the Dance Studio of Swift Current. The teachers are excellent and really care about the students. My daughter is heading into her 13th year of dance at The Dance Studio, Swift Current. She thoroughly enjoys the time she spends at the studio growing in her dance as well as the amazing friendships she has made. My daughter danced at the studio for 4 years. My daughter loved dancing so much, until her last year when she started hating it. Now she won’t dance at all and isn’t willing to try a different studio because of how she was treated at the dance studio. There were various safety concerns we had as parents that were repeatedly ignored by Miss Melissa and led to our decision to pull our daughter out mid-competition season. No teacher should be telling little girls not to wear underwear under their bodysuits and then making them take off these bodysuits to change into costume in an open change room with strangers around. Miss Melissa was more concerned about fees being paid than she was about our safety concerns and how our daughter was feeling.

Our daughter has been dancing at The Dance Studio since the age of 4. Our "quiet until you know her" girl has grown leaps and bounds in her confidence and we believe it is in part because of the training and support that she has received from all her instructors at the studio. Miss Melissa and her team have encouraged self-assurance, goal setting, team building, determination and the power of self-discipline. Watching her perform and succeed on stage at competition and recital over the last six years is a true gift as a parent.

Top down the best dance studio! The teachers are so awesome and caring. Making time for all students and putting in extra time and effort for those who need help with certain steps or routines. Miss Melissa is a wonderful teacher and put her whole heart into dance as well as each student! 🩰
