I only go to this clinic to see Dr. Meyer. She is amazing! Otherwise this place is pretty sad. Twice in 3 months my bookings have been screwed up. I have a newborn and even though I confirmed both times for the appointments for both of us, they have missed booking one of the appointments. I only find this out on the day before when they call to confirm. Once, maybe I could understand, but twice in such a short period is ridiculous.

Complete apathy! A complete lack of caring demonstrated by many of the “professionals” at this hospital for their duty to the public. A completely viable hospital being run into the ground!

My family has had many instances of not being able so secure an in person, or over the phone appointment for weeks, in a hospital that serves under 5000 people, which is ridiculous!

When visiting the ER or walk in clinic I am told that I can’t come to either for a routine illness or prescription refill… but what am I to do if I can’t get an appointment of any kind for two to four weeks? Also, what am I to do if I call and the staff schedule has not even been completed, and I have to call back when it is? While all of this incompetence and apathy is taking place, am I just supposed to roll over and die without my medications?

Referrals for testing from an outside agency or specialist are out of the question because they are almost always lost by staff.

If one is finally able to receive care after navigating around all of this hospitals gate keeping procedures meant to save any of the professionals in the building from doing any work, one is often met with contempt, apathy, and a concerning lack of attention to detail, if one is given an exam at all, and not just written a prescription and told to hit the bricks.

On another note, there are some good people that work there, but their efforts are in vain due to the lack of organization, accountability, and a serious lack of duty by the hospital administration and health region.

Unless serious changes are made, good people are retained , and lazy, apathetic people are fired, this ER, medical clinic, and long term care facility is more of a danger to the public open, than it would be if it were shuttered.

You fill an important need, and you have a vital duty to the public. Do better!

I am not even from Preeceville but have had to take my elderly mom, who has dementia, there a few times and have had terrible experiences. At one point the Dr was to call me for a telephone appointment , the Dr was having a bad day and actually called my mom!! My mom was so distraught not understanding why the Dr called her. It was a crap show and when I talked the Dr she was also on phone with her supervisor complaining about me, my mother and other patients!!

Ever need help for pain? DONT GO HERE!!!! They chalk u off even if they know ur in pain. Give u advil and send u on ur way. Even tho I was told if I needed pain management to go in and get help, I go in and was chalked right off and not helped…. Makes me wanna stop getting help. I’m in a huge process of getting my disabiled arm fixed and they had zero sympathy and offered no pain help other then advil. It’s discouraging and horrible on doctors to do. Half the time they don’t even have a doctor available….

The docs or whatever they call themselves there are terrible! Instead of checking what my husband came in for, they wasted his time focusing on medical issues that are not nearly as important as virtually disabled hands. Furthermore, the docs never honor their appointments and have lousy people skills.

My husband was curling, and lost all sense of where he was, and what was going on around him. I took him to the Preecevillel Hospital. Right from the front desk, to the nurses, to the doctor, to the lab techs , we were incredibly pleased and feel very fortunate that Darrell was looked after so well.
Then this summer, my step-daughter who has a very rare disease, became very ill while visiting. After calling 811, the Healthline, she was advised to immediately proceed to the Preeceville hospital. Once again we felt like the treatment she received, and we received as family was 10 out of 10. They did not have her wait and blood tests were done immediately, and what they discovered could have been life threatening had she of remained on the medication she was on. The doctor at Preeceville was on the situation right away, and we all left extremely satisfied with everyone we dealt with.

I gave one star rating because there were some good people there but my mother was a patient at Preeceville Hospital and a resident of the community before she passed away. One LPN took it upon herself to spread personal and private medical information about my mom around town to different people. She thought she was doing a duty to my mom, well she wasn't. I have complained, filed papers and she got a slap on the wrist. All I can say is I feel bad for her coworkers that they have to deal with her because she is giving LPN's a very bad name.

Dr Meyer has been great, easy to get a hold off and willing to see me even if it's a weekend. Make the chore of seeing a doctor easy
