I was speaking with one of their board members today Brent, and I appreciated him asking if I had any comments on the course and what they could possibly do better. I indicated some of the tee boxes could improve by being on flat ground (they are not that bad), he told me they had identified this and working on it. July/2025 We probably play 12 to 15 rounds a year at this course. It is a shorter course but it can be a challenge. We were happy to see the 1st tee box is back in the shape a tee box should be. The staff are very pleasant, I've managed to leave my range finder twice and both times I got it back. We have been held up only once and the course marshall Gary went and dealt with the offending party. They started playing best ball and the round picked up, in fact 4 hrs 10 mins is the longest round we played there this year. I do recommend you stop by the 19th hole. The restaurant serves up daily specials and the food is good. Our server today was Mara who took good care of us.

A shorter course in the river valley that plays harder than it appears. Lots of trees and areas to lose balls. The par 3's from the blacks are what can get you here on this course. Ambiance is pretty chill and it isn't stuffy whatsoever. Also, the restaurant is actually really solid. The mushroom burger is awesome. Lots of juniors on this course as well which I love to see and 95% of them are awesome.

I was finally able to enjoy a round of golf here and it certainly lived up to the hype. A great course in the North Saskatchewan River Valley. Beautiful layout, lots of great views and all the staff very extremely welcoming and friendly! The food was very good. If you're looking to get out for a nice round or host a tourney, I'd definitely recommend this place!

Course is in good shape and fairly challenging. Nice layout.
Club house is a great spot for food and drinks after a round and they even make Amaretto Sours! Refreshing on a hot day!

Went here for the first time, an easy course that is quite short. Unfortunately, most tee boxes are so over grown it’s like hitting from the rough, greens are chewed up and are also not maintained well, played on a Wednesday around 2pm and pace of play was terrible took nearly 3 1/2 hours to complete 9 holes as a twosome. We were playing 18 holes but decided to leave and not bother with trying to get a refund. Kinda pricey for what you get, since pace of play is so slow I wouldn’t recommend spending the extra $20 on a golf cart.
Gary the starter is sexist not thinking women can hit from any of the tee boxes and should play from 150 yards away from the hole each time “cause it’s more fun for the ladies”.
Warm up areas might as well not be there but I appreciate the effort to try and make something.
Overall would not recommend

First time there, after visiting a craft show.
Nice place to have afternoon coffee and snacks. Beautiful view of the golf course on the patio. The club house and the dry ribs were good. Will go back there in the summer.

Excellent golf course in the river valley in Devon. Beautiful scenery with a couple of quirks as you actually have to hit over the access road on two holes, avoiding cars... The only minor issue, was with the Starter / Player Host, telling us that "as the course is fully booked, you will need to finish nine holes in 1hr 50mins. Then as we were finishing our 4th hole, in 57 mins, we were told that we were seriously close to slow play. There was no-one behind us, and the group in front were on the fairway ahead of us ? This guy needs to chill out a bit. The restaurant was excellent, food was great sitting on the balcony.

The Devon Golf Course is one of the best conditioned courses we have played this year. We had more rain the past view days and were pleasantly surprised that it was fairly dry with only a few wet or muddy areas. This course is always fun to play and is lady friendly as it is not a long course with lots of birdie opportunities if you are hitting it straight. The tee-boxes and fairways are lush and the ball sits up nicely, the rough was thick and juicy but not unplayable. The greens are in excellent condition, soft and receptive which is always good on greens that are so small. They were lush and well maintained but were a bit on the slow side but sped-up as they dried out. Looking forward to going back as my wife really enjoyed it and played well.
