I had the great pleasure of working with Robin on a documentary in the summer of 2023. Robin approached me with the idea of documenting my life and work as a basketmaker on Salt Spring Island, BC. We spend 2.5 days together filming different sequences at various locations on the island. Robin arrived well prepared – he had a clear idea of the storyline he wished to capture. I found him both professional and pleasant to work with. He put me at ease straight away. Not only did I appreciate how professional he was, but also how open he was to my input and to following any spontaneous inspiration and ideas that came along during the filming. He was very thorough and patient - willing to do what it took to get the shots he wanted.

He left with the monumental task of having to edit the many hours of video and audio recording he captured. His true talent and artistry came through in the final cut.
