It was very fun to take a pottery class here. I have always wanted to learn how to throw a pot but never had the chance before. I only took a 7 week entry class for throwing bowls and I've learnt so much! From centering your clay to coning, and from forming the clay to trimming, firing, and even glazing! Well worth the money! And each instructor have their own personal touch as well, with some of them having over 25 years of experience. I am heading towards my intermediate class. Let me show you some bowls we have finished! 🙂

My kid took part in a March Break Camp and I was so impressed by the variety and number of art projects they did through the week. The instructor did a great job with the class, as did their volunteer helper. Great experience!

Love this place. I drive all the way up from Victoria for the very friendly atmosphere and comfortable, clean, bright space. The resident potters/instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable and are always happy to give excellent advice when asked.

As an artist, I love the concept of the space. It has a commercial gallery as well as maker space. The gallery regularly features solo art exhibitions of ceramic artists. While you can also buy items from local artists, for people who are clay aficionados or more artistically inclined, you will be hard pressed to find better or more consistent ceramics exhibitions of both utilitarian as well as sculptural work.

I took a 6 week course and learned a lot from Danika and Bronwyn. Now I'm using their kiln service for pottery I do at home. Very nice place, good value, nice artists.
