This week I got a haircut by Sydney, the curly hair specialist at NV Studio. As I’m just starting my wavy hair journey, I knew that getting a haircut would really help my waves come through so I was super excited for this.

Sydney spent a lot of time asking all of the questions to understand my hair routine, hair type, preferences and goals. She was extremely thorough in walking me through all the things I should know, and suggested both drugstore and higher end products that would work best with my hair. I have thick hair and I love that it looks and feels full, and she was able to keep that while still removing bulk so that my waves wouldn’t be weighed down. She ended it with walking me through a super approachable and realistic styling routine that would help me achieve the result I was looking for. After all, I want my effortless beach waves to actually be an effortless process!

She made sure she answered every question and also assured me I could always reach out if I had more. It was definitely the most informative and fun haircut I’ve ever had! Sydney is a true master of her craft and such a wealth of knowledge - you can tell she absolutely loves what she does. If you have wavy or curly hair you need to go see her!

I recently got my hair cut by Sydney and she spent the whole time educating me on my curly hair and the best way to style it to get my desired results. She's super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The salon is beautiful inside and they have a lot of great products in their shop.

Absolutely amazing. I got my hair done and i cant even explain how much i love it. It was super inviting and just felt incredibly comfortable. My hair lady stephanie is incredible and recommend her if you are looking to get anything done. Especially funky colours! Shes super sweet and outstandingly charming.
