Hungry Jacks is an Enderby standard for us locals. The food is good. The staff is happy, energetic and kind. The atmosphere is homey and welcoming. I frequent the place for breakfast mostly and occasionally lunch.

The other day, I overheard the staff talking about the new banana cream pie that the cooks had just finished. I heard one waitress say "Gee, how can we give an honest and valid recommendation about this pie if we have not had a chance to taste it! We ought to do something about that."

Behind the counter, everyone agreed that this was a good idea.

One other customer and I had overheard the conversation and I piped up. "Thats a really good idea! You probably need some independent reviews a well! "

Five minutes later one of the staff showed up with a dolup of this incredible pie. It was fresh that morning, thick and creamy. It was even a little bit warm from the oven. It was so good!

Every once in a while the chef comes up with special treats. They are an act of love. Love for her work, a giving back to the customers. Something beyond the basics to tantalize everyone gifted with the opportunity to partake.

A while back she made up some incredible pastry consiting of cherry and cream cheese. I am waiting for that one to come around again.

There is the standard fare that they serve and it is all great! But I love this personal and special touch that sometimes graces their menu. It goes along with the personal touch and neighborly care of the staff toward us locals. Its a place like the old show "Cheers" where everybody knows your name.

Stopped in to Hungry Jacks on our way to Kelowna from Revelstoke for lunch. This diner has got anything you’d want along with daily specials, homemade pastries, and a bright inviting atmosphere. We ordered the BLT with caesar salad (they have homemade dressing) and the chicken club sandwich with their daily special Greek potatoes. Everything was amazing!

Docked a star for service only because our food took a bit longer than what would be typical and I would have liked to ask for a bit more sauce for my sandwich as it was a bit on the dry side (for MY liking; I love sauce so I am typically more partial to having more sauce than normal, I wouldn’t say the sandwich itself was actually dry) but our server didn’t come around to check in on us or see if we needed anything before we’d finished up and were ready to go.

Wouldn’t hesitate to come back! There is a lot more on the menu I’d love to try.

10/10. The regular staff are kindhearted, funny, and know their stuff. You couldn't ask for a better small town breakfast/lunch nook. Truly, the memories I've made in this place are worth more than any high-class restaurant, and the staff truly make you feel as though as soon as you come through those doors you are home.
Clean, comfortable, the food is delicious and incredibly priced for the continued quality. I don't think I've ever had a meal or experience that made me question going back in the eighteen years I've lived.
Also, the drinks are stupendous, and seriously, did I MENTION the staff? So sweet, and honestly, incredible.

Bought breakfast here this morning, was delicious, bacon n eggs. Affordable prices. Was super busy, few minutes wait for our order. We were given complimentary cheese buns for the wait, yummy good. Will definitely be back. (No pic of breakfast, already devoured).

It’s delicious, don’t know what kind sausage they use, but boy is it ever good 👍🏼 will keep ordering from Hungry Jacks, best breakfast place in town.

Service was top notch. Very attentive and answered all my questions about the food with a smile. Open and clean space. Loved the decor! Quesadia was perfect. Homemade salsa was delicious. Thai noodle salad was tasty as was the broccoli soup. Definitely on my list to go back.

All 3 breakfast meals were cold. 2 of the dishes were missing main ingredients. They offered nothing to rectify this. Other than say sorry. Much like when we went there for our daughters birthday and were told we could not order breakfast 15 minutes before breakfast ended. We explained it was her birthday breakfast. They did not care. They would rather lose business and have upset customers than serve breakfast 15 minutes before breakfast ends. Terrible service. Enderby needs another breakfast place. These people know they are the only game in town and it shows. No more chances.
