What an amazing trip this Destination Eagle Show was !! Five hours of beautiful scenery and continuous excitement. We photographed Dolphins swimming towards the Zodiac, Humpback Whales, and Caspian Terns . The Eagle show was amazing, so many eagles, 100s of them feeding on the Hake. It's such an added advantage to go on a trip like this when the boat is captained by Wild Life Photographers who drive the boat to give you the best vantage points for taking your image. Thank you Stan Novotny and Stuart Clark. I can't wait to go back next year 🙂

The Eagle Show excursion was a BEST DAY! The experience of watching the eagles gather, dive bomb for hake in the rip currents was amazing! Added BONUS, stopping to watch a group of 10 humbacks feeding on krill all around our zodiac. Our captains stopped the boat to allow our group to capture some amazing photos. Extra added bonus, we stopped to observe a pod of killer whales hunting for their supper. WOW! Our 2 captains were very knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife, and provided excellent advice to our group of photographers. THANK YOU Stuart and Stan, the day was amazing!

What an awesome experience! Stan and Stuart got us right into all the animals we came to see, and we had a blast doing it! They were gracious and accommodating hosts, and spent time with everyone to ensure they learned and got the images they came for. I came away with a strongly positive impression of the workshop, the animals we came to photograph, and the city of Campbell River itself. Strongly recommended!

I went on the Eagle show tour with Coastal Workshops. Stuart and Stan come highly recommended. Both are skilled wildlife photographers and marine pilots/guides. Having these backgrounds as leaders of workshops is a huge advantage for us clients. They will always try and get you on the right side of the light if possible.

I have been working with Stan and Stuart from Coastal Workshops for several years now to photograph British Columbia's coastal wildlife from eagles, whales, sea lions and grizzly bears. Both are excellent guides, boatmen, and photographers. Stan and Stuart arrange great experiences for their participants from scheduling to food, to photographic explorations. While these circumstances are often dangerous with waters and wildlife, I trust both with my life and will continue to work with them well into the future.

I have learned so much and really enjoyed the wildlife photography workshops I've experienced with Stan and Stuart. They are knowledgeable about the area and the bears, whales, eagles and other wildlife in it and have helped me improve my photography. Stan’s photography/whale watching workshop was top notch. We saw whales but even if we hadn’t, we still learned solid photography tips and got great shots of sea lions and dolphins. Well organized and a really nice bunch of people.
