Stunning historical barn with amazing aesthetics for weddings and other special events. I was a vendor at a local market inside and it has such amazing textures and colours, very rustic and a great space. Only downside is the portapotties, no washrooms on site but I feel it's a great tradeoff for such a photogenic site. Giant sunflower patch behind the barn, the lawns are manicured and parking is close (no paved parking). Immediately off the highway but we couldn't really hear any traffic noise. A+

Head east on Trans Canada Highway 1 to the last set of lights in Strathmore and turn right, look for signage to the barn.

The Legacy Farm Project, formerly known as the Klaiber Historical Barn, is actually the CPR #1 Supply and Demonstration Barn that set the stage for the history of the development of Western Canada. Today the Barn is known as an amazing wedding and corporate venue, boasting larger than life crystal chandeliers throughout the barns historical 100+ year old structure.

The overall Legacy Farm Project is centered around the historical barn, as it has formed an integral part of Canadian History. This history will be further showcased in the projects future development.

*Google directions currently wrong* you cannot access this facility from the west side. You need to access from the East by turning on Range Road 251.

Very neat old building to see. Maps needs to update though as there’s one road that’s closed & we had to re-route to find it.
