What a find! Awesome selection!
This independent business is committed to environmentally sustainable products with reduced packaging AND high quality products. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I was able to finish my Christmas shopping with her help. Some products are a little more than you'd spend at the drugstore or box store but you can tell right away that the quality is far better... lovely scents but not overly perfumed. For me, most importantly, there is no unnecessary packaging.
I really enjoyed shopping here and will definitely be back! The Local Refillery "checks all the boxes" with great products, excellent service, natural ingredients, environmentally aware, independent and local! This is the store of the future.
As an independent business owner myself, I'm very impressed with the Refillery. So glad I stopped in!!

I'm in love with this store. So many great products to peruse, and you can bring your own reusable containers. I live in Calgary, and I love to bring my mason jars and stock up on everything for personal and home care whenever I pass through Stony plain. There's never a shortage of interesting things, cute things, things that smell good, and things that are healthy, not harmful, for me, my home in the environment!!

It seems like so much waste comes along with just living daily life. I appreciate shops like this that make it convenient to not be so wasteful, when usually it’s convenience that causes so much waste. I’m so glad this place exists here in Stony. It’s super easy for me to stop by for product refills. I try to tell everyone I know to go here for products so their business sticks around in Stony.

They have a great selection of face, body, and house products and all sorts of containers you can choose to fill with them. Even tiny ones so you can test a product out before making a big commitment. I’m always off staying somewhere away from home so the tiny containers are perfect for in my travel toiletry bag.

The Routine deodorant is fantastic. It smells great and leaves my underarms soft and happy. I’m also loving the strawberry body butter made in store. I use it on my knees & elbows where I have a bit of psoriasis and like it as a lip balm. I often open the container just to get a whiff of strawberry. There’s also a Manuka honey face cream I like to use if I start to get acne spots.

Community and environmentally focused store! My high school's Environmental Club recently did a project with this store to create zero-waste care kits for the unhoused community of Stony Plain, including personal hygiene products, combs, and reusable drink and food containers. We made 21 kits, which were mostly filled with products from the Local Refillery. All of the products were of great quality, and they gave us a very generous discount to ensure we could help as many people as possible. This project would not have been possible without the incredible owner and her amazing store. I'm very grateful to have such an accessible and environmentally friendly business so close.

This is a quaint store to with awesome products. You can chat with the very nice owner, play with a bandana wearing dog and even buy a quality shampoo bar for your pooch.

Supporting local business, helping the environment and getting out of the house, reminds us all of better days before Amazon!

I recently moved to the area and am IN LOVE with this store. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile, an adorable doggie and the scent in the air is always devine! I have sensitive hands and my kiddos have sensitive skin. I have tried: hand lotions, body/hand soap, towels, gifts, jewelry, essential oils, soaps, scrubs, kitchen products even a razor for my husband and EVERYTHING has been exceptional. One time I was overcharged (I didn't notice) and the owners Mom was kind enough to reach out and let me know and offered me credit next time. Honest business, local, beautiful store, convenient location, this place is an absolute gem. The owner is so lovely and helpful. I bring all my friends here for a ladies getaway since it feels like a mini vacation everytime I walk into the store! ~Ronita
