I like to write a reviews of restaurants small town. Always looking for that Hidden Gem. The foods sucked it was not really good. Ginger Beef was horrible. but the spring roll was crunchy on the outside which was perfect. sweet and sour pork was not quite right the onions what's the best part. overcooked dried garlic ribs and they were tough like they came from an old bull. they was just not quite right the rice was way short on salt and pepper and the wonton soup had too much salt. The french fries are crunchy they were overcooked and that dried garlic ribs was like to come off an old animal.
The food was definitely edible maybe my standards are just too high now these days. End up taking over half of it home and eating at the next day and was not any better.
If it wasn't for being the only restaurant in town I think they'd be out of business years ago

What an amazing restaurant!!. Fast, huge portions , and the flavors are incredible! When i had a piece of carrot in my vegetables it actually tasted like carrots! My hot and sour soup was the best ive had in a long time with all ingredients being fresh and full of color and bowl was practically a serving for 3!

The mushroom beef in oyster sauce was incredible as well and soooo tasty.. Not over salty or mushy but crisp and tasty with many distinct flavors.. Had to take some home as I couldnt finish it...

I walked in and was promptly served, I ordered a combo of chicken fried rice, beef and veggies, dry ribs and chicken balls, all were cooked very well and the serving was quite generous. It is a quaint place, well maintained and the owner was genuinely thankful that I enjoyed her food and smiled warmly for the tip she received. Being right off the trans-canada highway, I would definitely suggest a pitstop at the Sunflower Restaurant, you will be well fed and far from disappointed.

Absolutely terrible. I’m allergic to msg, eating anything with it results in crippling migraines that last for days and in very bad cases I require my epipen because my throat swells up and closes. We were on our way through town and our kids needed a snack. My husband called and ordered lemon chicken, something the man on the phone said ABSOLUTELY would not have msg and was 100% safe. He even told my husband that the wonton soup had msg so we didn’t order that Ofcourse. But we should not have ordered anything. I had one bite and am so sick I might need to go to the hospital. I’m livid. Do not lie to people!! You can kill somebody with allergies!! Disgusting.

Stopped near the restaurant looking for a washroom. Not finding any we decided to go to the restaurant. After ordering drinks and deep fried wontons to snack on we used the washrooms. Although the restaurant was older it was clean and the service was quick. Soon we were back on the road.

I wish these owners didn’t move from Vermilion to Manville. Good thing the drive isn’t long. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ve been eating the food these owners make since I was a baby. The service is great. 100% !
