We hired Studio Lumen to shoot our wedding & we could not be happier with our decision.

They were an absolute pleasure to work with. Minutes into our consultation we were ready to hire them as our photographers. Each member of the team we met were extremely personable, friendly, and professional. They were extremely responsive to emails and inquiries, making the planning run extremely smoothly.

I highly recommend scheduling an engagement shoot as it gives you an opportunity to get a feel for their style, and in turn get some amazing photos. Our photographers were both extremely talented and will make you feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Leading up to the wedding we did a site visit of our wedding venue so that they would know where to get some of the best shots. On the day of our wedding they were beyond amazing. Every moment was captured perfectly and the photos turned out amazing. We booked them for the full day to ensure we could capture some amazing photos from the dance in addition to all of the Ceremony, Portrait, and Reception photos.

Our guests were even raving about how awesome our photographers were, and that they could not wait to see all of the pictures. All of our pictures turned out amazing - and each time I look at them I get to relive each tiny moment that happened on our big day. Highly recommend!

Gillian and Jean Marc took beautiful food photos for my business.

Both were very easy to work with, accommodating and respectful in our email and in person conversations.

The shoot took an entire day as I wanted various angles of quite a few food products. They used tethered capture, so I was able to see and approve the photos as we moved along.

Gillian did a wonderful job styling all the photos.

Even before the actual wedding, Jean-Marc met with us and was so helpful. He answered all of our questions, gave us an approximate timeline, and has lost of extra services available. (I.e. printing, albums, etc)

Day of, they were professional, knowledgeable, and really helped us relax, even though both of us can be a bit awkward when getting photos taken. They were so much fun to work with and I think that really shows in the quality of our photos. I would highly recommend them to anyone for any of their photography needs. We will definitely be using Studio Lumen in the future!

I found Studio Lumen to be very unique. Before they would let us book and pay, we had a zoom call to go over our vision for our wedding and the things that were important for us, styles we liked, etc. to make sure that we were a good fit for them. I truly appreciated this because so many others just wanted to take the money to book before even trying to have a discussion at all. Jean-Marc and Fawzia took time to get to know us and wanted to help tell our story. We booked an engagement session and we’re so happy with our photos. Jean-Marc arrived early both to the engagement shoot and on our wedding day. He worked hard to get literally hundreds of images and moments to remember. We got married in Banff and he was familiar with our venue and nearby photo spots. He helped us to avoid the crowds in Banff and was super organized, didn’t rush, and made sure to take all the photos we wanted. He even offered to stay later if we needed. Studio Lumen truly cares about you as the customer and Jean-Marc made us feel like friends/family. We are so happy to have found them and we would definitely recommend them!
