Where do I start... this company is incredible. Pulse Productions did the photography and videography for our wedding, and so much more!

We found them online and then set up a zoom "meet and greet" to see if we were a good fit. It was casual, easy and professional from the start. Even though we were on the mainland, Jen and Nick came over to us at no extra charge to do a mini engagement shoot (including our pup!) which was so lovely and got us comfortable behind the camera.

Planning the details of the wedding day was great as the communication was timely and they were so flexible, customizing our needs! The best part about their business model is that you book based on the event and not on number of hours. We weren't stressed about having to choose which parts of the day to capture and they were there for all the important parts, regardless of the time.

On the wedding day, Nick and Jen were exactly what we needed them to be. Professional and prompt, even invisible at times. They accommodated our special requests, captured all the best footage from every angle (including drone) and were even there to calm me down and stick up for us when our venue tried to push us out quickly.

We received raw footage of the ceremony immediately to send to family and friends that couldn't come and our highlight film and teaser photos came quickly after. They captured the essence of our day down to the background music chosen, fitting perfectly.

Then when it came time to receive the full photos and videos, wow stunning. I had some minor tweaks/changes to request and they did those with no questions asked and no extra charge for their additional time.

To top it all off, Nick and Jen made a generous contribution to our wedding charity, Canuck Place Children's Hospice, out of their commission.

I could go on in much more detail, but trying to keep it short(ish).

Absolutely wonderful experience before, during, and after our wedding back in September 2022! Jen was amazing at catching all the small details and reminding people to remove phones and wallets from pockets, removing hair ties off of wrists, all the little things that make a difference between a good photo and a perfect memory! She was also so patient with me when losing my login for my gallery and was super responsive every step of the way! My (now) wife and I were on the hunt for a photographer and videographer for our wedding and we could not be happier with our decision to move forward with Nick and Jen at Pulse Productions.

From the initial discovery call, Nick and Jen were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They were not only able to understand the type of shots we were looking for but were also able to augment our vision based on their experience.

The packages that they offered were very competitive. We opted to move forward with the Diamond Package which included photography, videography, and a Photobooth. One of the things we loved about their offering was the fact that they didn't charge per hour but instead were by our side for the entire wedding from start to finish.

On the day of, it was very impressive to watch Nick and Jen in action. Despite the wedding party being behind schedule after the hair and make up ran long, they were able to get each photo from our shotlist done efficiently and in a lighthearted manner. Everything from the drone footage to the lighting setup was perfect.

Within 1 day of our wedding, Nick and Jen were able to turn around a "coming soon" wedding video preview and some photographs from the big day - this exceeded expectations.

If you have an upcoming wedding in BC, AB, or SK, we would 100% recommend Pulse Productions.

Unfortunately I did not have the best experience with Pulse. Part of the reason I booked with Nick and Jen was because of how well they worked together in a wedding they did that I was part of 2 years ago. I was told 5 days before my wedding that Jen was actually going to be shooting a different wedding, and there would be an "assistant" photographer. I was, and still am, disappointed by this. There were several photos where my hands were positioned awkwardly and not corrected, and I feel that Jen would have captured that and corrected it as I know she did in the previous wedding I was in.

In addition to that, there were several photos that I needed to ask for that weren't initially uploaded to the gallery. In fact there are still some that aren't there that we were hoping to have.

I'm certain that I would be able to give a more positive review had they worked together on my wedding.
